"Jaccard is the original manufacturer of this as well as the makers of the machines the butcher uses to make "Cube Steak" as they call it in Michigan or "Chicken Fried" in Texas."
"Still eating tough steaks, chicken or pork chops; well whose fault is that?"
"The meat chews like a ribeye, no exaggeration."
"After using the Jaccard, I put it in the top shelf of my dishwasher, (as per instructions), and it came out perfectly clean. I think that the Jaccard would be useful to just about anybody who wants tender meat, but would be especially nice as a wedding shower or new home gift."
"Note that for thick cuts of meat, you'll get a good forearm workout, because the blades don't easily retract after you push them down unless they go all the way through."
"I have a Jaccard, they are great, so it's a shame that Amazon is selling this junk as the real deal."
"But as I have to remove the cartridge to properly clean it, and it's a few years old now, I figured to replace it with this simpler no cartridge model."

If you're fond of thin cutlets or like your meat tender as butter, the SoftWorks Meat Tenderizer is the tool for the job--it's got a flat side for pounding and a textured side for tenderizing. Contoured, soft handle fits comfortably in your hand.

"I asked her where the nearest pig fraternity party was...she didn't get my meaning and went to fetch an old hammer from my basement tool box. I had some hesitation before purchasing since the business end of the hammer wasn't made of metal...it is a dense rubber/plastic-type material."
"It's just the right size and weight for several tasks I do often: Mainly I use it to safely open winter squash: (1) Place the blade of a large knife on top of the squash 2) Whack the back of the knife with a kitchen mallet (in the case of this mallet, the flat side of the hammer rather than the serrated side) until the squash splits open."
"Don't believe the reviews where it says people hurt their fingers because the mallet is too small."
"We have several other OXO kitchen tools like our potato peeler which have lasted a long time over many years."
"This is a neat hammer which will both tenderize and flatten meat cuts to a Schnitzel size for sauteƩing."
"Using this, it helps me tenderize the chicken breast and I can evenly cook it without any raw parts."
"This is my new favorite kitchen gadget!"

With a professional weight (26 ounces) and size (3-1/4 inches in diameter), it's heavy enough for quick work but small enough for precise maneuverability. Made of mirror-polished stainless steel, with a santoprene handle to provide a sure grip even when wet, this essential kitchen tool should last a lifetime. "This is by far the best meat pounder that I have owned."
"This is so comfortable to use and great on even delicate meats."
"Well made, heavy enough to really make a difference, and the perfect size."
"My wife of over forty years left five months ago to live with another man, and, to my dismay, she took with her the hefty meat tenderizer I had grown to love; I used it to prepare 'tornadoes,' a flank steak dish that is a sure crowd pleaser."
"This product is so much better, the long handles on the mallet type don't provide leverage and you can't feel what you are doing."
"This works great."
"After years of depending on a wooden mallet to pound cutlets I decided to buy something with a little more heft."
Best Meat Grinders

The STX TURBOFORCE 3000 SERIES Meat Grinder is BUILT TO LAST and packs some VERY HEAVY DUTY OUTPUT POWER & TORQUE!!! This Meat Grinder is intended to Grind Meat - This Grinder Will NOT Grind Bones.
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"The first conclusion: the most important feature of a meat grinder is the motor power. This STX has a powerful 1,800 watts motor, more than enough to do all of the duties of a home kitchen (and maybe even of a small restaurant). The ground meat texture results very similar to that from a supermarket grinder. We didn't notice that, and what went to the dishwasher was damaged: the shining was gone and those parts became some rough to touch. So, I contacted the seller (The Mercantile Station) and asked them the price of the replacing parts, since I would buy them. What a pleasant surprise: they promptly sent me an email asking for my address, and they kindly offered to send the parts for free (despite, I must stress, the damage was caused by me). IMPORTANT NOTE: a few months after we bought our STX, the motor was improved to 2,000 watts, i.e, an increase of about 11%."
"Put a bit of already ground meat back into hopper to push through the last piece of steak so it doesn't get stuck - push down with pusher."
"Being a machinist I took a good sharpening stone and dressed the disks and blades, they broke in perfectly. Determining the right amount of tension on the disk retaining ring is not exact science."
"My mom seems to love this thing and grinds everything in it, mainly meats and vegetables."
"While this machine does produce a loud whirring sound while operating, it is a very efficient machine and gets the job done quickly!"
"This device is purple, lavender. The kitchen are had a solide fit for the screw and the housing."
"Easy assembly, good fitting parts except the meat trough is loose when in use and has no way in which to secure it."

I finally ordered the Grill Beast and can highly recommend this fine injector. dual hole needle this past weekend to inject a full packer brisket."
"Love it, fits my hand perfectly."
"Solidly made product, but they were wise enough to include spare O-rings (which are bound to deteriorate over time)."
"The needles are sharp and tapered so they easily puncture the meat."
"The 2 long needles included are just as extreme as is the lifetime warranty. I love to cook, and grill a lot of meals.I cook a lot of meals on a large BGE, and inject a lot of meats."
"This injector set is awesome!"
"To make it easier to inject, add a little bit of cooking oil to the o-rings so the parts slide easily. My first time using it was for Thanksgiving dinner and I'd like to think that it made a difference in terms of moisture and flavor."
"Large capacity syringe, and extra long, very sharp needles make east work of injecting your favorite solutions deep into tissues."
