Find Best Price at Amazon"If you have cartridges mounted in a way that extends them far past the end of the headshell, or on a significant angle, you won't be happy. When an SH4 is mounted in an "outer" position, the opposing lid just barely touches the lever when the box is closed. Clearly it has been designed for a specific audience: users of Technics or Technics-clone shells and cartridges that aren't gigantic or mounted in unusual ways. If you can live with all that, and the basically-zero space for any accessories (such as a small brush or a spare stylus), I would go for it. That said, the shortcomings noted here are somewhat of a disappointment given that another millimeter or two depth-wise would fit an SH4 without problem, and a small pocket for additional "stuff" would have made it a real killer."

By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your turntable, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run it. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge. In addition, dust accumulation is very damaging for the sound of turntables; the last thing you want is for a lot of dust to collect in your slipmat, cartridge, or stylus, then making its way onto to your records while playing. What can I do to extend the life of my turntable? Unlike other covers, we don’t use cotton twill fabrics which allow dust particles to fall in-between the woven fibers, and we don’t use translucent vinyl that will discolor, dry out, and melt when exposed to heat or light. We have sold over 90,000 dust covers (and counting).
