Again, if you read my other reviews, you also know that I’m loyal to a good brand so I turned to Amazon and searched for a pair of earbuds with active noise cancellation from one of my favorite brands, Meidong. From order to delivery, Meidong’s HE8C Bluetooth earbuds with active noise cancellation were in my hands in less than 24 hours, thanks to Amazon Prime. Immediately upon arrival, I opened the packaging and found the following inside: 1 – Bluetooth Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation. 3 – Pairs of Eartips (medium pair already installed). 1 – Hard Shell Carrying Case. 1 – Charging Cable. 1 – User Guide. 1 – Thank You Card. While the earbuds were charging, I conducted further examination of the packaging, contents and the user guide. The HE8C’s charging cable is different from many other earbud charging cables. This is very convenient because in addition to standard charging, you can use any Android device to charge the earbuds, a huge plus! After close to an hour, the red indicator on the charging cable disappeared indicating that the buds were fully charged. The excellent sound reproduction and the convenience of not having to remove the buds every time I need to talk to a colleague in the office more than make up for the price. The noise cancelling feature decreased the noise level close to that of a small, expensive, quiet Honda generator. It does charge quickly and comes with an additional battery which is claimed to add up to 10 hours of run time if attached. Bluetooth connection was easy, but if you want to connect it to a second Bluetooth device you will need to disable the first one if it is within Bluetooth range. Either turn the first device's Bluetooth off, or (for the iPhone) put the first device's Bluetooth Setting to "Ignore.""
