As another reviewer mentioned, I also feel that these are just a hair below the volume level that I like to listen to most songs on. I'm not the biggest fan of the ribbon style cable for earphones, but it seems durable and has a soft touch rubber. Works great for hanging them on the wall with a thumb tack and securing around your neck when you want to take them out of your ears. The metal base of the bud where the rubber tip connects and the speaker begins, where it kind of bulges out in the photos, is uncomfortable after a short time if the earbuds are inserted deeply. Shirt clip for the wire, I guess so you don't drop them if they fall out of your ears. Mesh baggy that can fit everything inside easily without having to force things in. In a sea of crappy in-ears, I'm happy I finally found a pair that sounds great."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The pads are made to be played - great feel, adjustable pressure and velocity sensitivity, and color map-able (love how the on board drum kits are color grouped - one color for toms, one color for cymbals, etc.). The included sample "Vault" is OK, but seems weighted towards genres I'm not too big into - however, sampling, sample editing and pad assignment are extremely easy on this thing - love what I've been able to do so far layering pads, bass and arps using samples from the same synth, and I haven't even delved into making a keygroup yet. As it's a stand alone device, I would have goosed the storage memory and definitely the operating memory - you can easily up your storage, by dumping unwanted content or adding an internal SATA drive which you will inevitably have to do if you are a pack rat like me."
