ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox Junior 35-watt Class D Guitar Amplifier with 5-inch Internal Speaker
This amp can be powered by a regular wall outlet or on the go with the ZT Battery Pack or Car Adapter Cable (each sold separately). Jazz players love it for mid-volume gigs, and it's great for recording and home use because it takes up almost no space, it's simple to use, and it sounds so much bigger than it is. Jake Kelly of American Songwriter wrote in his review: "I've had situations where this portable amp would have been the way to go without giving up any tone. Portable power with a 12V power option so you can take the Junior anywhere; 35W Class D power amplifier.
Reviews
"If you add a mic and run through the PA for large venues or outdoors, there is not much you can't do with this setup."
"I'm thinking it's probably a matter of dispersion and that it sounded thin to me because you really need to be at the proper angle for the amp to sound best."
"I have both the external speaker and the amp."
"Also, I have a 20' heavy-duty Peavey speaker cable, and it is fun to stretch out the distance between the ZT amp and this cab."
"If, like me, you didn't read the FAQ ahead of time, and made the mistake of buying the Acoustic and the Extension Cab thinking they'd work together, then you have a problem."
"I am using it with an acoustic electric guitar and love the projection it provides."
"Love it!"
"As a professional guitarist, I play DrZ, %13, and Swart tube amps at most engagements, but I couldn't resist taking out this little solid stater on a run or two. It's not going to take the place of a sweet tube amp dialed in just right, but it will absolutely amaze and surprise you and anyone listening to the tonal character it delivers."

"I just replaced the 2- 10 inch speakers in my 95 "custom" Vibrolux reverb amp with these 1058's."
"Make sure you know what sound your going for, this handles tube break up very well- You will not get that ear piercing treble from this or muddy mid crap."
"I bought this to replace the stock speaker in a Pawn Shop Excelsior amp. The stock speaker had a nasally midrange tone and ice pick highs."
"Great speaker for the price."
"Its heavy, but thats a small trade off for the upgrade in sound. For the price you would be hard pressed to find a better 15" speaker."
"Eminence."
"This speaker could be a little harsh in the highs right out of the box but still sounded great. The back of the cabinet opens and when the back if opened, the speaker definitely has more "air" between the notes and has much more definition when playing barre chords. If you are looking for a darker tone, I would recommend the Eminence Big Ben speaker as it tends to be less bright sounding."
"Now that it is broken-in, I can say this speaker is perfect."

"Outstanding Improvement in sound using in class A microphone preamp for recording studio warm silky sound very good low end as well lot of folks say that tubes can reduce bass not in this case.... the low-end is cleaner, tighter more accurate highly recommend."
"With the tubes change, it's somewhere between a Pignose blowout crunch and a driven Fender amp."
"It sounds a lot more tube-like now than with the original tube which i thought sounded too digital, harsh and fuzzy."
"It has a noticeably different character than the stock one."
"Good replacement for OEM/Stock tubes on any Class A or alike amplifier's preamp section or Tube-DI box."
