Find Best Price at Amazon"Pros: Solid construction, heavy enough and low enough center of gravity for stability, has a gate to contain the neck, easily collapsible for travel, shows off my strings proudly. The bracers at the bottom were a bit too curved and didn't accommodate my chin rest and shoulder rest causing my fiddle to sit crookedly, but once I straightened them out a teensy bit, the instrument was able to sit nicely."
"This is fantastic!"
"I had originally thought the advertisement about "wasting valuable practice time" was ridiculous, but now that my viola is in a convenient place where I can, literally, pick it up, play a song, and then run to work, it makes sense and practicing just happens!"
"I find this to be a nice clean sturdy holder for my violin and bow."
"Easy to set-up, and my daughter practices more often now that her violin is out in the open, rather than tucked away in its case."
"I've bought six for all my violins including my NS NXT5 five string which also fits these stands perfectly."
"But even with the bow in one hand, the other hand is still free to put the violin on the stand and then to close the retaining clasp."
"I love this stand - I have two of them now."

"My teacher also suggested adding a piece of foam where the rest meets my collar bone if I am playing for any long periods of time."
"Straight out of the box just with some minor adjustments it already felt like it was holding evrything much more comfortable and secure leaving me free to play more relaxed why I can go and play tennis with a violin shooting out from my neck that comfortable anyway the rest and it's mechanisms can be intimidating so it will take a little time to get it adjusted perfectly do take your time."
"I love using this!"
"Very comfortable shoulder rest."
"This is a very good quality shoulder rest and also very comfortable, however it doesn't fit in my case, causing me to have to carry it around."
"very good shoulder rest it stays firmly on shoulder."
"I had issues with the cheap Chinese rest slipping and not staying adjusted. I also experienced a broken foot on the cheap rest while trying to tighten the nuts."

"Anyone with an upright bass can tell you about stories of moving it around. I would highly recommend this to anyone who owns an upright bass!"
"It is so much easier for him to take it in and out of rehearsal and I feel much less terrified when I see him pulling it along versus trying to get through a doorway before."
"Carrying my vintage (1929) hand carved double bass around was challenging at times and this has made all the difference."
"I purchased the "Dblbass buggie®" after buying another product for far more money that did not perform. A double bass is heavy and if you have to carry it a distance to the gig, it becomes even heavier. Do NOT attempt to stand or leave the double bass on the dblbass buggie® unattended. The Buggie is made of light weight high impact plastic and used 5" wheels with bearings."
"It is exactly what I needed."
"The other day I had to move my bass over a gravel area."
"It works fine without the bass bag, but I had to rearrange the whole thing to make it work, with the bag."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Update: I was initially using a light colored rosin that came with my violin and I think was a cheap product and produced a lot of dust."
"I've been playing the violin for...gosh, over thirty years now, and my degree is in music ed. Bows, while admittedly a mixed lot, tend to be a "you get what you pay for" kind of thing, and a decent bow at this price range tends to be scarce as hen's teeth, as they say. I was pleased when I first pulled this bow from the box with its appearance--the black carbon fiber is very sharp-looking, especially with the clean fittings. The only negative I found with this bow was that it arrived with broken hairs--somewhere between 3 and 6 if memory serves. If the bow continues to lose hair, I'll adjust my review accordingly."
"He quickly assured me that the bow was a newer item that differed somewhat from the illustrations at Amazon, and to quell my concerns he offered to ship me the older model - because I wanted that design to distinguish it from my other CF bows. Well, he no longer had the originals but readily offered to send me, free of charge, an upgraded bow with a frog pattern of my choice. Both are light and well balanced, with the newer one a couple of grams lighter and more weighted towards the frog."
"The hair is Siberian Horse hair and since started playing I can hear a difference between my original bow and this one. One thing I noticed on this bow is the space between the frog and black wrap is not that big like my other bow."
