"This is a high quality case that will afford great protection to your trombone."
"Two padded storage areas inside the case, one holds two mouthpieces and the other is for small items such as lube or water spritz. Maybe we're missing something obvious but don't see anywhere the cleaning rod will fit inside or outside this case."
"Nice padding for protection and room for his mouthpiece and cleaning supplies."
"It's lighter than cases we have bought in the past, and the interior lining is really nice."
"Velcro straps (inside) could use a way to hold them out of the way to allow easier placing and removing the instrument into the case."
"I bought this case to take the place of a very old case - and I love it."
"Fits my son's Bach 42BO nicely."
"Fine case."

"its ok but for a lightweight bag."
"Can be carried with a side grab handle, or nearly stashed away are straps that allow transport akin to a back pack."

"This is a great case."
"The case keeps the horn in an upright position rather than the tradition down position I am used to, but this is to leave room for the MASSIVE pocket which holds my straight, cup, and Harmon mutes with plenty of room to spare. I have my Giardinelli Heavyweight pro horn in the case right now, and it fits fine even with its longer valve casing!"
"Bought this case for my son since his last case had started falling apart."
"Not so with this case."
"The side pocket is larger than most cases. Be aware, that all that "stuff" in your case, will make it heavier than your much smaller case most horns come with, that have no storage :) We were a bit surprised...but if you need to haul your "stuff" with you and be ready to play, and you play alot, this will do the job nicely."
"The original case was worn out and my other trumpet case was to small."
"I am able to fit all my extras in the case."
"I am impressed with the quality, construction, and weight of the case."

Best Tuba Bags & Cases

Protec DELUXE TUBA BAG -UP TO 22 BELL
For added protection, deluxe bags are reinforced in the bell and valve areas. Backpack straps, generously padded.
Reviews
"I purchased this bag in order to carry my King 1241 tuba assembled, since two-piece cases are kind of a pain. It does that job, it is extremely roomy inside and the end is big enough to fit my tuba's 22-inch bell no problem. The bag has two good-sized pockets on the front to hold the various other things one needs to take with when packing a tuba, like the mouthpiece, valve oil, music folder, etc. In the larger of the two front pockets on the case, there was a carry strap designed to snap onto the D-rings on the bag for shoulder-carry, a luggage tag and a Protec mouthpiece pouch (which was a surprise, I didn't expect to get that with this item). The plastic wrapping on the bag itself had some tears where it looked like somebody had hooked it with their fingers at some point, probably during loading or during unpacking from the supplier. In a shelf or cubby, in the back of a rental truck on the way to a band contest, or packed into the luggage area of a bus, the feet will allow the tuba to be rested on its side without having to worry about damaging it. In the middle of the floor, the tuba will roll to one side or the other when released while resting laterally on the rubberized feet. Also, the included shoulder strap is sturdy and more than sufficient to carry the weight of a tuba, but it has no padding and is not comfortable for long periods of wear."
"You better have a truly large tuba to fill this bag up. I own a B&S "Neptune" CC tuba with a 20" bell and there was still plenty of extra room in this bag, particular in terms of length."
"THE ZIPPERS, while very strong, they are slippery, meaning if you close the case where both of the zippers are on the bottom, the horn is going to FALL through the bottom. It's also extremely difficult to get the horn in the case, for some reason it opens from the bottom and side, and not the top and side."
"The measurements given online in the item description were right on, and as a result, his tuba fits in snugly and securely and we feel confident it is being protected while he hauls it to chamber groups, gigs, and throughout music camp."
"This bag is "generic" in that it is designed to fit a wide variety of tubas. The straps for the back pack carry are well designed and fairly easy hoist a tuba up onto your back Not only would I recommend this bag to a friend, I'd buy it again for myself."
"Based on where the backpack straps are located, this gig bag probably works best with a left side lead pipe (Besson style-upright piston valves) tuba."

Best French Horn Bags & Cases

Protec Contoured French Horn Pro Pac
Size: Case |. Style: PRO PAC Contoured. Water and abrasion resistant 1680 gauge ballistic nylon exterior.
Reviews
"Great straps and protection."
"Schmidt which was just restored just barely fits-- it did not fit in its original case after restoration because the leadpipe ended up extending further beyond the horn-- initially I thought that was going to be a deal-breaker with this case but the end of the leadpipe does just hook into the leadpipe depression. The shoulder strap is a little awkward somehow; for several decades I have used a canvas gig bag originally sold under the Brasswind name with just a shoulder strap. One time I was going pretty fast when it happened-- caught on a rod projecting from a dumpster in a part of town with no alleys...just barely avoided going down and thought I'd injured myself and thought it miraculous that the case was undamaged, but I did discover ultimately that the outer canvas got ripped at the base of one of the shoulder straps. Have been trying to get the shoulder strap out of the way but it's not easy."
"EXCELLENT case!"
"The case met all my expectations."
"My son is a senior in high school, who takes the horn into and out of school every day, and it gets tossed around in the car, the bus, and in the music room."
"Perfect...exceeded our expectations."
"Shawn S. Foti: I purchased this case after using a soft gig bag type case for many years. The bag is a bit heavy but comes with a really nice (comfortable) shoulder strap."
"My son walk/bikes to school and had to carry his french horn, everything is so convenient now with this bag!"
