I have gotten a ton of compliments, either in the form of people asking me if I'm the one who put the lights on my chair to general "hey, I love your lights!" For someone who is still on the youngish side who's in a wheelchair, it's nice to hear people pointing out the lights on my chair instead of just pointing (hey, it happens). I know one reviewer said that because you had to unscrew the battery pack to access and change them that these are essentially 'throw away' lights but I don't think they are at all. As the wire approaches the battery pack, it's covered in pliable plastic, probably so that the lights don't break with constant bending. UPDATE MARCH 21: I had used velcro to keep the tiny battery pack controllers on the spokes of my wheelchair. I'm showing the picture where I killed one light and an up close picture of what it looks like on the other spoke so you can see how much of the pliable plastic was on the strand between the wire and the battery pack. I've bought more of these lights and those command strips are good because they help with the ability to reposition or replace the battery pack as needed."
