"The default configuration of this valve is that the water from the inlet is sent to the left, right or both output pipes, that's 3 possible valve positions. If you remove the handle and switch it so that it uses the other stop it only allows two positions which is what I needed."

Find Best Price at Amazon"We bought this to replace our pump that came with the Intex 15 foot round pool because the pump that came with it was not doing the job in South Texas. If you plan on using this pump for the smaller Intex pools with the smaller diameter hoses... you'll need to buy "Hose Conversion Adapter Kit for Intex 1500gph and 2500gph pumps" that is sold here on Amazon. I used those to support the hoses coming out of the pool by strapping around the top rails then going under and around the hose so it can't droop. The filter you want is: Unicel C-5315 Replacement Filter Cartridge for 15 Square Foot Intex B Filter. Anyone with a 15 foot round pool from Intex that lives in the south and is having trouble keeping the pool clean... this 2500gph pump is your answer."
"So I will get my first review I have not used the filter yet it said it was used in good condition and it came looking like it was brand new and very very well packaged and came one day early it came with the hoses in perfect condition and I was about to order the Intex Outlet part that you hook into the pool to shoot the water back into the pool from the filter keep in mind I have a one and a quarter inch piping which was causing me some problems of how I was going to install it then I opened one box that I did not notice was in there to find out that problem is no longer an issue because it came with the outtake part that hooks into the pool and into the hose without having to do any adapters changing it from a quarter inch to a one and a half inch piping plus this way it can pump a lot more water because when you use adapters you lose water flow the only adapter I will need is just to hook it into the exterior filter that is built on to the side of the pool which is very very easy to do so so far I am happy I will update my review Once I install it this weekend."
