You cannot expect any flea product to completely rid your home of them. It takes a minimum of 3 months to completely get rid of them if you actively fight against the fleas. You need to vacuum your floors and furniture every day at least for awhile. You also need to keep up with your laundry and wash blankets regularly, including your bedding. If you bathe them before the product has time to set it, you just wasted your money. Vacuuming, washing, and spraying is what will combat the infestation. You CANNOT get rid of fleas completely in a short period of time so dont expect a miracle."
"One time I applied this product onto my older, white colored cat and it left an almost bald, reddened patch on his neck/back- it looked like a localized allergic reaction or contact dermatitis. It hasn’t happened again, and I have changed the application style to kind of dotting the product onto him on a larger area rather than one big blob."
"Caught a flea on my cat a week after applying a dose of this stuff, it was weak and close to death so I'm assuming it worked. Hopefully it continues working. Update: it's been a month and a half give or take since I've been using this stuff."
"The day after applying this to our large male cat a bright pink bald spot one inch wide appeared at the area where I had applied it."
"DO NOT BUY THIS MEDICATION, ADVANTAGE II LARGE CAT( I would suggest ALL sizes! ):Your Cat's hair will fall out, your Cat will scratch INCESANTLY until he/she develop's open lesions, that are not able to heal enough to go away because of the intense itching!!"
"Did nothing to get rid of the fleas and left a bald spot on the back of my cat's neck."

We decided to give it a chance. This decision was in part because we had a new rescue kitty that had a very bad allergic reaction to topical flea treatments. We began stocking them shortly after and have heard nothing but praise from staff and clients since then. One of our dogs has allergies to grass and beef, among other things, that cause his ears and skin to turn bright pink and itch like crazy; while another of our dogs has such a severe reaction to turkey that her entire face begins to swell up. Do you have any idea how many people are allergic to Aspirin or other medications or foods? Visit your veterinarian and have an allergy test done for each pet, primarily if you see constant itching or bald spots. Believe us, we see so much suffering, intentional and unintentional, in this line of work and it never fails to move us."
"When the flea collar arrived we immediately put it around Kyo's neck and it was awkward for him since he never wears collars and he was acting strange but after an hour or so he realized what it was, within 2 hours he stopped itching excessively. We checked his neck every day for the first two weeks just in case he was starting to get an allergic reaction. Too bad my Kyo ended up breaking them lol. Update: the collar stopped working at 5 months."
"We kept a close eye on the animals (all young and healthy) after three days one cat suddenly had hair loss and abrasions on her neck. Three days in the collar was enough to rid our cat of her fleas!"
Veterinarian-recommended monthly flea treatment for cats.

"I live in an area that deals with fleas a majority of the year, and it is always a problem that products that the vets offer don't always work or take a while to kick in, so this was definitely worth the price and I'll be repurchasing."
"It's been a long battle that included three lighted flea traps, flea shampoos, flea combs, surface sprays, and other brands of flea prevention drops."
"Product works well, the cat hasn't complained and there are no fleas."
"I used Advantage II for the first time on my cat and within hours the fur on the back of her neck fell out."
"BUT one of my cats started losing hair all around the area and other spots lost random chucks of hair, he looks patchy :( Other cat didn't have the issue, so that's the half rating."

In all, I say this is a good product, but the better product for treating your house is the Raid Flea Killer Carpet and Room Spray."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I would have to warn you, that after using this shampoo, keep your dog OUTSIDE for 24-48 hours. I counted at least 10 little ones.. and the big ones... dear god... my dog found them before i could and burst them... leaving blood everywhere."
"I have tried everything from boric acid to diatomaceous earth, flea collars and cheap flea drops to bathing them every few days in dawn dish soap and vacuuming twice to three times a day, and NOTHING worked. My friend recommended this shampoo, and at this point one of my cats had developed a severe allergic reaction to the fleas and all I could do was cry because I couldn't help him. And as for the actual effectiveness of the product, hundreds of dead fleas sunk to the bottom of the tub, and hundreds more came off with the flea comb. Then I would thoroughly comb the cats and rinse the fleas into the bath water since it was full of soap at that time and the living fleas would inevitably drown. I am happy to say that the combination of the shampoo and flea drops have left my cat - for the first time in little over a year - flea free."
"I just seriously need to bomb my house because if there are still fleas in the house, the cats will always get fleas on them no matter how much I bathe them with flea shampoos, and it’s gonna be a never ending battle."
"I had a recent flea infestation, and gathered tons of products to fight the war."
"Everybody had fleas in November and December due to unusually mild weather; we tried a flea spray, and flea collars, but nothing had worked on my fluffy Norwegian Forest cat, who was the main carrier."
"I'm thinking the combination of the spray and this shampoo kicked it's butt."
"This is the only shampoo I use on my dogs."
"Tried advantage ll spot and still fleas, we spray our yards,I wash pets beding, blankets vacuum daily."
Best Cat Tick Remover Tools
It removes the tick without squeezing it, reducing the risk of infection.
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"We bought this over 8 months ago and just used it for the first time today on one of our dogs."
"I've gotten pretty good at pulling them out, having removed more than even most vets do in an entire career. It then left me stunned (yet elated) at the realization that I actually just found removing a tick to be easy (almost enjoyable) lol. My only concern was that I'd drop the tick once removed, so I also bought a few other tick remover tools that look like tablespoon measuring sticks that are supposed to catch the tick once removed but I've never bothered to use them bc to my surprise, no matter how big or small, this thing grabs them so tightly that I often struggle to get them off the tool when putting in plastic bag lol also, these come in 2 sizes - the others only come in one, as you can see, I'm often dealing with microscopic ticks so having two sizes is incredibly useful (although I've grabbed the wrong one when removing a tiny tick, but the large one still worked so perfectly that I didn't even realize i had the larger one in my hand till I placed it down next to the small one lol). In all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tool & I'm certainly gonna be using a lot of this thing...."
"I am so thankful I came across these when I did because ticks are at an all time high right now in New England."
"Just what we needed to replace the set we gave to another to take home."
"It doesn't make the removal painless as my poor hypersensitive dog will attest to, and I add bactine to help numb area, BUT it does make it EASIER (especially small ticks) and quicker to remove them."
"My dog had a tick in his ear and although it was still difficult to access due to the area once we got ahold of it and twisted the whole thing including head came right off."
"One for large ticks and another for small ticks."
"If you live anywhere with a chance of tick exposure, these are must have for your home, your car and your first aid kit."
