Neutral Color scheme that will work in nearly any bedroom. Adjustable height. Very easy and quick assembly. Stable - will not fall/break under a slightly heavier dog. Affordable. Cons: Dog does not use it 100% of the time (this may be more of a con for my pup than the product). Not the most stylish... Big/Bulky."
"I think the reason is these Solvit Steps have sides to each step and prevent mishaps and stepping off sideways causing a fall. The sides protect their feet and keep them on target going up and down rapidly or in the night getting on and off my bed. Super easy to unfold from the box NO putting together and best of all Made In America so you are supporting American Jobs."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I finally have her comfortably eating and sleeping on the back deck, and in a major breakthrough she began letting me pet her about a month ago. Last year I got her a Kitty Tube shelter, but she wouldn't go near it and survived the brutal NE winter sleeping in leaf piles, judging by her fur. I started by placing her favorite blankie (the "Mysterious Purr Pad") into just the flipped lid on the deck. I decided to try a heated pad in a last ditch effort, and settled on the small sized Lectro-Soft because it was reasonably priced and would easily fit into the 22" diameter (round) Kitty Tube. This one is more flexible than the rigid "Extreme" or "Original" versions, but it has a tough vinyl coating with a removable soft cover, and seems plenty durable. (First = Lectro Soft inside the Kitty Tube with the roof off; second = power cord coming through the KT opening.). EDIT: I discovered the Lectro-Soft's one weakness: if anyone pees on it, it's hard to get the urine smell out of the soft vinyl cover. I ended up buying the "original" pad, which is rigid plastic and doesn't retain odors, for my girl feral."
"Contrary to other reviews and questions this is not pressure sensitive and draws power whenever it is plugged in. I monitored the pad with lab grade remote thermometer and CCTV as my feral cat came and went in my barn. It was wrapped in an old sweatshirt and was inside a single layer cardboard box placed on a shelf made of 3/4" plywood. My information regarding not being pressure sensitive is directly from the manufacturer. I'm generally pleased with the pad but dislike when sellers try to imply things do something they do not."
"At first I wasn't sure about this bed. Just open it up, pull the little red valve in the corner to its open position, plug the bed in and wait for 15-30 minutes for the heat to adjust and the bed to self-inflate. After it inflates, (which isn't dramatic, so don't anticipate the Hindenburg), you press a little of the air out to prevent a ballooning effect when your pet sits on it, then close the valve. But I was scared of leaving it on without me being there - it's not meant to be either outside OR unattended -- so enter the K&H Lectro Soft Outdoor Bed. He's blind, but can sense a warm human lap within 50 yards, so this will be great for when said laps are unavailable and out shopping for more pet beds."

"I was half way expecting the thin cheap egg crate many "orthopedic" beds have, that pack down quickly. The top is a soft fleece, blanket type, that my dog loves! The medium sized pad measurements are exactly as described in the item description, and is perfect for my crate. If you do for some reason get a dud, it was probably a rare lemon, and I recommend returning it for a replacement."

She lays her head on them, and when she falls asleep she sinks down onto the fur part and rolls on her back . If Sophie seems to be uncomfortable - I'll just buy one, cut it to size and stuff it under the one already there to give her added support. Another option is, if you and your pet really like this Sofa Bed...you can buy Seat Replacement Foam and cut it down to size to fit...I did this for a couch of our that the cushions were really cheaply made...and it worked perfectly. Sophie has extremely thin hair, and when she goes outside for longer than 15 minutes - we have to put sunscreen on her as she burns very quickly. Also...if you received a dirty Sofa...try contacting the Seller or Amazon and have it replaced BEFORE you write a negative review. It has what I was looking for for my dog, the price was right, it got here on time and in excellent condition, and most importantly of all...my baby LOVES her new Sofa Bed."
