"He's all set up with food & water, a huge bed with a couple fleece throws and a cat house, which is rather small for his size- 18.9lbs. He used it when he HAD to in order to keep from getting soaked during a windy, rainy storm but he had absolutely no wiggle room. The house itself is made out of strong interlocking plastic and is super easy to put together; took about five minutes. We learned the hard way to put it together outside first, if that's its final destination as the roof made it not fit through the door. It can hold a dog up to 100lbs (and I was able to fit in it- Female, 5'6", 112lbs) so for him, he has PLENTY of wiggle room."

I position the crate so that its door faces inside of the pen, and I have the pen encapsulate to each side of the crate door with the rest of the crate protruding out of the pen (the picture shows the setup). The Exercise Pen is secured to the crate by simply using your standard swivel keychain hooks (these actually came with the Exercise Pen)."

I hesitated to pay $50 for a flea collar that might not work, but took the chance and ordered this Seresto collar. Since the collar worked, I've also ordered one for our little indoor dog and the indoor cat, who also have fleas (but not as many). If these collars really kill the fleas for 6-8 months, they are worth every penny of the cost. I also set off some Hot Shot flea fogger/bombs in our carpeted bedrooms, where we had fleas (the pets sleep with us)."

Fleas get attracted to the warmth of the light, move toward it and of course they can jump as high as four inches so in they would go into the water. Over time, the dead fleas in the soapy water diminished to the point that we knew we had won the battle.
