The Company of Animals Pet Corrector- 50 ML
Created by Dr. Roger Mugford from The Company of Animals, makers of quality pet brands including Halti, Baskerville, and Clix. When the Pet Corrector emits a hissing sound, the dog is distracted, and the owner can then insert a positive command and reward. EMITS A HISSING SOUND through a quick burst of compressed air that mimics the warning hiss of a snake or cat to distract the dog, so you can teach better behavior and commands such as quiet, sit, leave, and stop.

"I purchased this product after it was recommended in a blog article by a dog trainer. So, in order to preserve our sanity, I decided to try the Company of Animals Pet Corrector. Humphrey's pack brother, Oliver, leaped about 3 feet and then tried to figure out where the noise came from. But one blast from that can, and he walked across the living room with his tail dragging listlessly on the floor, crawled onto the couch and into my husband's lap, and laid there like he had decided to never move again. The second round of barking, and a second blast from the can, sent him to the couch again, this time to hide behind me and lay very quiet and still, as if to become invisible from "The Noise That Clearly Hates Corgis". Molly, First Attempt: We brought the problem child out for a test of this seemingly miraculous behavior corrector. I sent the kids outside, leaving Molly behind, a scenario guaranteed to make her start barking. Hackles up, she proceeded to attack another pack mate, who had to be put in another room for his safety, and so as not to mess up our tests. Oliver, who was startled silly by the Corrector the first two times I blasted it, has now decided to BARK AT IT. Fortunately, everyone is separated without injury, Molly is put in check, and peace falls upon our house once more. In summation: Pet Corrector works brilliantly on normal dogs with minor behavioral issues. Pet Corrector might actually make tiny high-energy spawns of Cerberus worse."
"I have another dog that is very smart (she's an aussie/border collie mix) and she is extremely sensitive to it."
"This is a good option for nervous dogs; I got ultrasound device and my dog got sick and couldn't eat for two days then I have used this other product and works much better, of course, needs to be consistent otherwise dogs are like little kids they will back to the bad habits :)."
"It's a good tool, but follow threw is important."
"The spray doesn't hurt them--it's just a loud "SHHH" sound that startles them and breaks the barking habit."
"I did some research and came across this spray which had a lot of good reviews so i decided to try it. And it doesn’t actually spray it just makes a hissing noise that the dogs seem to be scared of?"
"We adopted a puppy and a trainer recommended this as a training device."
"He would pull and jump and make this horrible squealing noise that made other people and their dogs very uncomfortable."

"I took my new puppy to the in-laws where my brother-in-law's dog had already wrecked a leg of a wooden chair a few months before. This initial spray down eliminated a lot of the hassle of having to train my dog that only his toys were ok to chew on."
"I got a puppy puppy."
"Minus one star just because if you open the bottle you will see that the liquid is brownish yellow so it WILL discolor white objects like walls and carpets if reapplied too frequently."
"But, we have a puppy that has to try out everything to chew on, including furniture, power cords, or whatever."
"Works well to keep our puppy from chewing everything in sight."
"He won't chew the corner of the carpet when it's sprayed with this, but we have to spray it daily since it doesn't seem to soak in."
"I bought this spray to keep her from eating things like cat poop, fallen fruit, acorns, etc..."
"Doesn't work at all for our 8 mo old mix breed."

"She was shot as a kitten and I think it made her just psychologically unable to trust humans. Whenever I have had to trap her or catch her for visits to the vet, it was horrible. Needless to say, at times when I have had her indoors due to medical procedures, it was rough. Within minutes she was out of the litter box, sprawled out, purring and I was petting her."
"My other kitties have not been recipient of cat bites since I added this spray. UPDATE I applied a squirt to a disputed zone on the couch, all 3 cats will now faux blanket me without squabbling."
"He was very, very scared when we brought him home. Almost instantly after spraying this on myself and other items throughout the home, as well as plugging the air infuser in to the wall, my kitten was a lot more relaxed."
"However, the vet recommended I spray the cat carrier to reduce stress so I bought another bottle."
"I sprayed this into my cat's kennel in preparing for a disaster visit to the vet....."
"We have 2 cats who are only buddies when it's treat or food time. This products works if you have the time to spray your furniture all day long."
"He LOVES the Feliway spray they have at the vet (tries to lick whatever they spray it on). But if you are going to try this, I suggest spraying it on an item (towel, blanket, cat bed) while it is NOT near your cat, waiting for the alcohol to evaporate, and then give the item to your cat."

Reviews
"I think this would be totally helpful with a kitten -- it is so important, anyway, to train them when they are young and, if you don't want them on the counter, or on the computer desk, it would make sense to go to the trouble to move things around so you can place it where they are coming up."
"Since my dog has stopped sniffing around, I assume the cats have stopped coming to the balcony."
"It keeps her dog off the couch when she's at work, and she stacks them up under her coffee table when she's home."
"However, it covers only a small area, so there is nothing to stop your little furry family members from just dropping their presents around it. I was able to cut the runner down to the size needed and put it in a couple different places ( with lots to spare), and it actually is less obvious since it is clear."
"I wish they worked but my pets are just too smart for them."
"Our cat sits right on top of it."
"I bought this X Mat to prevent my cat from having accidents on the couch."
"Aside from one major design flaw they work great, and the cat is no longer lying/sitting next to the heater."

"I have been a trainer for many years and always felt "shock" collars weren't the humane way to train until our new dog just wouldn't stop barking for no reason. I'd say 90% of the time she listens with the beep and the other 10% is just vibrate on level 25. I ONLY wanted it for problem barking but she is an absolute angel in all ways. She doesn't even beg for food anymore or ambush family when they walk in. She's still the happy, goofy, 90 pound Bernese Mountain Dog she always was but with manners."
"When I lost the collar I wrote the company to see how I could get a replacement and they sent me a whole new collar and remote without charge! This time the collar was a slick plastic feeling collar versus the nylon one that I originally had."
"I was told LAST year by the Dog trainer we went to, To go out and purchase one of these collars. But with a Great, but headstronmg Rottie, we needed it, she will be Two years old in July but sometimes she just becomes a handful!"
"I guess I never realized big dogs grow incredibly fast, and bad habits are exponentially worse with them (when at 6 months he could stand on the floor and steal stuff from the table and knock over the chairs at you if he was told no, I realized I was outmatched) so I went looking for some training aides and found some kindle books, and physical books on potty training and manners. However we found ourselves with a lot of problems with barking, slapping other people that chastise him (except to me, he can be pretty sassy) and chewing on the couch and literally eating the wooden coffee table, so I hopped back onto Amazon looking for a vibration collar hoping it would help. The battery lasts forever, no burns or marks to my dogs thick skin, and now that I have a second collar head I am using it on my 10lb 8 yr old Morki-Shan (he is blind and partially deaf now) who picked up some bad habits from the goof ball of a puppy and it is just as useful with him once I figured out his tolerance."
