Find Best Price at Amazon"The previous version was finally a halfway decent version, and now Amazon has messed it up again. I get the impression that the only reason they rolled out the new version is to push their new subscription service, because for uploading your own music to the Amazon cloud or listening to your own music, this version is downright terrible. Update: After a couple of updates to version 5.1.0.1590.5.1.0.427, it's a lot more stable, in that it doesn't hang or crash quite so often. All I want to do is upload my own music to Amazon's cloud, and this program is terrible at it. Newest update 5.6.0.1081 from a few days ago finally successfully uploads my music to the cloud! As of a few days ago, every single attempt I make to upload, whether one track at a time, an album at a time, or multiple albums at a time, I get "No songs were added to your upload queue". But still get "No files were added to your upload queue", whether dragging to the app or using the app's Upload button to select files. It is completely useless again for uploading my music to the Amazon cloud. You should be ashamed of yourselves.at. Update 10/29/2017: Well, it's been a year since Amazon killed its great uploading program and forced this truly awful software on those of us who want to upload our own music to the Amazon cloud library that we pay for. When it does work, the file list usually isn't updated on the PC screen, so you can either guess or hope that your files were uploaded, or upload them again to be sure. Sometimes the second uploading will tell you they were uploaded, and sometimes it just doesn't say anything."

"The program provides a couple dozen menu themes, but there doesn't appear to be any way to create use a custom theme, and the provided themes seem to be based around a familiar chapter-style interface--more traditional menu navigation (ie, "Play Movie/Set-Up/Special Features") doesn't seem to be an option. Fortunately, the program seems to be able to handle just about anything you throw at it where content is concerned: I mixed MPEG files with raw DV footage, including a variety of resolutions ranging from 160 x 120 to 752 x 480, and the program just workhorsed its way through the job at the click of a button. Addenda: I discovered the drag-to-modify nature of the track markers which allows the user to easily move or delete existing tracks simply by tugging on their flags. I also discovered an unfortunate glitch where the track markers are concerned: it seems that sometimes a tiny, split-second piece of your track will inadvertently get attached to the track marker, resulting in a short burp of sound right before the actual track begins. This would be bad enough to be a show-stopper, except that it's easily corrected: if you have a burping track marker, delete it and create a brand new track marker (with no associated burp) in exactly the same spot."
