"The program provides a couple dozen menu themes, but there doesn't appear to be any way to create use a custom theme, and the provided themes seem to be based around a familiar chapter-style interface--more traditional menu navigation (ie, "Play Movie/Set-Up/Special Features") doesn't seem to be an option. Fortunately, the program seems to be able to handle just about anything you throw at it where content is concerned: I mixed MPEG files with raw DV footage, including a variety of resolutions ranging from 160 x 120 to 752 x 480, and the program just workhorsed its way through the job at the click of a button. Addenda: I discovered the drag-to-modify nature of the track markers which allows the user to easily move or delete existing tracks simply by tugging on their flags. I also discovered an unfortunate glitch where the track markers are concerned: it seems that sometimes a tiny, split-second piece of your track will inadvertently get attached to the track marker, resulting in a short burp of sound right before the actual track begins. This would be bad enough to be a show-stopper, except that it's easily corrected: if you have a burping track marker, delete it and create a brand new track marker (with no associated burp) in exactly the same spot."

That being said, I would follow the recommendations of the previous reviewers and assume that it will NOT give you any remaining days on your current subscription and will reset it to just 365 for the new one. Despite the lack of controls for HDR and Panoramic merge, there's a huge plus to having these features built into Lightroom and having the output file kept in RAW. "They decided to proceed with the Office 2016 install so we took the laptop back to our office and proceeded with the long process of creating new a MS Account, downloading the large installation file, and installing Office 2016. We tried to login under the Microsoft account, but it prompted us with a security alert that our account has been suspended for excessive junk mail. They wanted a cell phone number in order to re-activate the account, but the business customer being rural did not have one. Their Tech Department showed the license was registered to the suspended account, but they were unable to assist with suspended accounts. We were able to reset the account password just fine, but even with the new password it still required a cell phone number. What would happen to the account if my cell phone number changed? I am sure Microsoft would eventually like to have a single account handle "pay as you go" and other high security features and tying accounts to cell phones would be desirable. When Microsoft forces you to link a strangers cell phone to your account for security are you really more secure? They do state it requires a MS account, but clearly we were able to create the account without a cell phone number. They should have verified this when the account was created, not after the account was created, we download the software, installed, activated, and migrated all the data over to the new laptop."

When I contacted their tech support I had the worse, nastiest, deplorable and insidious experience with any company of any size ever and I would NEVER RECOMMEND ANY SERIOUS BUSINESS OWNER TRY THIS PIECE OF SOFTWARE. When I attempted to import data from my bank using a QBO file from the bank, Quickbooks responded with a message stating it could not process the import because it did not recognize the institution's information (Capital One Spark Business - a well-known institution). I called the Quickbooks support line and a tech instructed me to install LogMeIn 123 so he could look into my system and proceeded to show me a long list of errors in my event log. When I called back, another technician told me I would have to pay for them to repair the error ON A BRAND NEW INSTALLATION OF A PIECE OF SOFTWARE!!! While I was talking to this second technician, the LogMeIn session was active, and someone launched a very obscene, pornographic website on my browser. Not only is it unacceptable that the data be corrupted right from the start having entered a single transaction, but for them to then demand a fee to fix it and to vindictively throw up a pornographic site on my browser is way out of bounds."

Here are your super easy steps to follow; As soon as I made the download purchase, I received an email from Amazon that said "Order details". Within that email, It will say "Product Key". When you click on that, you will see your standard "Norton 360" screen that gives you the options; "Security - Identity - Backup - Performance - More Norton". Look just below that and you will see "Subscription Status" (with the days remaining) and followed by "RENEW". That being said, I would follow the recommendations of the previous reviewers and assume that it will NOT give you any remaining days on your current subscription and will reset it to just 365 for the new one. I will also update the review with any issues with the product, but by all appearances it simply continues my Norton protection that I was already pleased with. If you're renewing your Norton 360, I assume that you were satisfied with that product too, so reviewing it's features in this review might be redundant. I registered the product in my existing Norton account to activate 10 devices I could install. The download went smoothly and installation on my Windows 7 desktop was faster than with older CD based Norton products and similar to Norton Security with Backup. I found it interesting that the installation branding and the control panel branding is still Norton Security with Backup reinforcing my perception of a simple evolution and mostly branding changes. Conclusions: If you have last years (or older versions) of Norton installed and want this to be a renewal, DON'T FOLLOW THE ACTIVATION DIRECTIONS! If you have gone through norton.com/setup, be sure to remove your device from the Norton control panel and device before installing the new version. That's annoying. Because it's a great product for home users, having to reinstall if you buy a new subscription (vs renewing) and the IOS app remains quite limited I'm giving Norton Security Premium 4 stars."
