"OK, so I purchased this brake set to replace some POS Juicy 5's that just weren't cutting it anymore. I borrowed a bleed kit, ordered new olives and inserts, and was fully prepared to switch out the brakes to match my setup. Furthermore, the cables were the exact length for my size medium frame (full suspension). There is enough "play" in the bolt holes in the caliper to align it correctly relative to the rotors. I think Shimanos are better than the Juicy brakes, an opinion many of my riding friends share (most of them were wondering why it took me so long to come to that conclusion)."

"That your have a fork (if mounting these brakes on front) and/or frame (if mounting on rear) with IS disc brake mounts. Total: $20 (this disc brake caliper)+$13 (disc brake rotor)+$35 (disc brake compatible wheel)+$2 (longer cable)=$70. If you don't already have a frame and/or fork with IS disc brake mounts, then I would recommend just to get a new bike that comes with disc brakes."
