Ideally, if the anchor gets stuck, you can pull on the rope hard enough causing the zip tie to break and changing the angle your pulling at and hopefully dislodging the anchor."
"I also added a short length of galvanized chain between the anchor and line, to weight the arm down for setting a better fluke grip on the bottom, a lesson learned when I had a much larger 30' power boat and anchor."
"I took some advice I read online and attached the rope to the bottom of the anchor, then secured part of the rope to the top eyelet with a zip tie, so if it gets stuck under a rock or log you can break the zip tie and pull anchor up from the bottom, hopefully dislodging it."
