"When we go for a ride we get our riding time, distance, average speed, maximum speed, real time speedometer, has a clock, and maintains an odometer for bike miles."
"And the additional "features" on the newer models aren't helpful: A calorie estimate, which doesn't account for elevation changes, and a carbon offset guesstimate, which is just stupid to have on there."
"Take the time to wrap the cable around your front brake line and leave enough slack at the bottom to not bind."
"I realized I only wanted to know how fast was I going, how far did I go, what was my average speed, what was my top speed and how long was I actually pedaling. Plus, a bonus is the automatic pause feature, which allows me to stop without affecting my average speed and time riding."
"I originally got a different device for my wife and was disappointed with how complicated it was."
"Bought Giant Escape Hybrid Bike and ordered two of these computers, sold the old bike with computer on it. One went on my husband's diamondback mountain bike and another on my new hybrid bike."
"Once the computer is installed and set up, it is very simple to use."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I've got one installed on all of my bicycles, and have been used one every day for at least the last seven years."
"No backlight (not a listed feature though). Sensor mount on a blade fork was a bit fugly."
"I just want to hop on my bike and go, without starting an app, or fiddling with a complicated computer system."
"I’m not a techie gadget person so this is a great wireless bike computer for me."
"This is my first bike computer, and so far no complaints."
"First, it seems almost impossible to change the time once it's been set, without losing one's odometer data (if it does turn out to be possible, then my comment is about the un-helpfulness of the user manual)."
"I like the size of the screen, as it is easy to read while I am riding."
"If you can't follow simple directions and/or refuse to set it up correctly this device isn't for you."

Your selected mode (cadence, average speed, et cetera) appears at the bottom of the screen, while your current speed always appears at the top in huge, easy-to-read digits. The new tool-free speed and cadence sensor mounts effortlessly to any standard (non-elevated) chain stay. The device includes a clock and a programmable odometer and lets you track your current speed, maximum speed, average speed, trip distance, and elapsed time. Handlebar mount size: 22 mm to 32 mm Fork mount size: 11 mm to 55 mm Battery: CR1620 Wired rear-chain-stay-mounted speed and cadence sensor Wire transmission distance: 55 inches. ALL YOUR FAVORITE STATS: Check your current, max, and average speed, total distance, two trip distances, elapsed time, pace arrow, clock, and cadence. Your CatEye computer knows when you’ve stopped and stops counting time and averaging speed.

Find Best Price at Amazon"The bracket band to mount the computer makes it a little tough to get the computer in and out compared to the clip used on my older Cateye computer product."
"While it functioned, I found that installation was a hassle, programming was awkward at best, and placement was limited to the front wheel. It is a nice intermediate model that installs pretty easily, works reliably, and has an intuitive interface."
"In the rain, small dirt/grit gets behind the display and jams the unit so it can't be depressed to change the display."
"I did have to use a little bit of packing to get the wheel sensor a bit closer to the spokes, and the cadence magnet in it's default setting would not work, so i attached a rare earth magnet underneath it and packed underneath it with rubber, and now the cadence setting works fine, with a gap greater than what is specified (the rare earth magnet is very strong!)."
"I love the wired set-up: no worries about recharging batteries. The battery should last a year or two, instead of a day or two like wireless computers. Folks on stationary bikes don't need it, but it's nice to have when riding outdoors."
"That one flaw makes this computer nearly useless for anyone interested in daily exercise/ fitness training since the unit collects and averages data whenever the bike is in motion, you cannot stop data collection or trip duration while the bike is moving."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Minutes after I installed it, I set off on a 35-mile ride north of San Francisco and was blown away by how much more helpful turn-by-turn cycling directions are when you can actually see the map."
"I was a little dubious at first but this thing really works, it clamps tight on the stem of my fat bike and the adjustable phone clamp grabs my wide 5.5 inch phone in place, the last piece is the stretchy orange rubber bands that wrap around the corner of your phone."
"This is a very versatile mount for holding your device while you ride your bike."
"My phone has stayed on through some bumpy bits of trail and the occasional bunny hop on my cyclocross bike which does not have shocks. Side note: I forgot to bring lights for a night rise and I was able to use my phone's flashlight with this mount to give me some light for the trail and to make myself known to traffic."
"The only down side and the reason I’m not using it anymore is the rubber strap slides between the components and causes the mount to go into “swivel” mode."
"Other then that it will hold a phone well in a slim case."
"+Phone swivel is easy to change and stays in place easily. Con's. -Plastic holders are hard to wrap around the phone at times or stay in place."
"The clamping system was a bit sticky out of the package so I opened it up and put some Silicone and PTFE lubricant inside and it works fine now."
