"I still carry this knife as a back up and seeing as it is almost 1/3 of the price of a socp i would recommend it."
"The blade shape and handle design make for a very easy to control knife and one that allows someone with little to no experience with a knife to still be able to confidently control it."
"Super sharp, the angle and grip are perfect for an aggressive approach (self-defense hopefully)."
"The handle fits the hand very comfortably and makes for easy slashing motions but is lacking in texture l. I performed a few simple tests, such as slashing small tree branches and cardboard boxes and it made smooth cuts with zero drag. While, I have not had any issues with it coming off of my belt when drawing the knife, I have noticed that it is starting to bend out."
"This knife has multiple features that make it great for an everyday carry knife."
"The sheath also can be adjusted for left or ride side carry and comes with extra screws and tool."
"Got this as a gift for my boyfriend."

In commemoration, every Buck 119 shipped in 2017, will have the 75th Anniversary medallion on the handle. RAZOR SHARP CLIP POINT BLADE - 6" Clip Point 420HC Steel Blade has excellent strength, edge retention and corrosion resistance for lasting durability.

Find Best Price at Amazon"First let me start off by saying that there are 2 Ghostrike Fixed Blade Knife options, the regular, and the deluxe kit. This knife is ultralight for a full tang fixed blade, I believe it was designed to be as low profile as possible. Great as an EDC knife in the backcountry for the minimalist, the way this is set up it will attract everyone from ultralight hikers and survivalists to tactical law enforcement and military. The steel is 420HC which I know some people are not the biggest fans of, but man when you hold this, you will love it. It does have 2 drain holes at the bottom of the sheath for water to escape and feels locked in pretty well. I just don't know why Gerber didn't utilize the rest of the wrap that does not have the knife on it for "other" things...like an elastic sleeve for a mini ferro rod, or some tiny pocket for cash or whatever you may want to put in there."
"The main criteria for me for an EDC are lightweight, compact, easy to carry, and relatively inexpensive that I won't feel bad abusing it. Out of habit I put my hands in my pockets a lot and doesn't matter what knife I carry, it always ended up scraping my knuckle."
"It makes this knife easy to access and re sheath."
"I love this knife because of the horizontal sheath concept. This knife has become one of my edc carry items and will stay that way till I find a better knife with a horizontal sheath."
"I have been looking for a knife to hold somewhere else but my pocket."

"I bought as a gift, they loved it!"
"There are videos on line that demonstrate that picturing power of this M48 creation and it is at least highly acceptable, if not impressive. The pyramid shaped pommel, is visibly a dangerous less than lethal option of the knife and is an improvement that exceeds the original. I am personally engineering an improved sheath with a better retainer for my own purposes. Hitting a moving target by throwing a knife, is NOT like the movies. There is a great chance that you will miss or not cause fight ending damage. This means that you have disarmed yourself and given a pretty fearsome weapon to your adversary. The sheath (velcro) is its worst feature and is functional. The blade is 420ss (be careful what you wish for if there was ever a high carbon steel option - you may never properly sharpen it again) and is more that acceptable to me."
"I thought it was a great idea, considering this knife is really dangerous, even for those who are using it. The sheath that came with it is in plastic, but somebody thought it was great idea to leave giant holes in it."
"A bit hard to sharpen, but looks great and well constructed."
"Excellent knife, 1/4 twist more than the Microtech and a lot less money!"
"I wanted the original but very hard to find and is $1,200+ dollars. It's worth about $40 max retail cuz it cost $10 at most for whole sealers to buy. It's not thru prime so it's not worth it and will just be a story add to my collection of 150+ knives. As for the seller, the shipping was good for non prime and so was the packaging plus they sent a cool catalog with it. I understand the seller has to make money and that's ok but I really think the price should be a lot lower."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I'm writing not only to praise this knife, but also the company that makes it - and the several other Kershaw folding knives I own and have given as gifts. I've recently changed my pattern of EDC, and wanted to put the pocket clip back on this knife. I emailed KAI to order the part, explaining that it wasn't broken or damaged or defective - I just misplaced it. I got a FAST response by email, telling me they were glad to send me a replacement clip free of charge."
"I've owned many knives and have come to realize I'm becoming less of a fan of serration for an EDC knife but that's a personal preference. I still carry this knife today and I love the fact that when I need a good blade I have this on my person."
"I decided to purchase this knife from Kershaw as a beginner, then I will move on to other brands and types."
"Absolutely worth the money, very durable, stays sharp for months with regular use, scratch resistant, and just small enough that it's legal to carry in my area!"
"My girlfriend's father wanted a "really good" pocket knife for Christmas. So I took the same qualities in that knife and narrowed it down to an all black, spring assisted, half serrated, pocket knife that was in my price range."
"Since the blade on this knife is just a smidge over three inches, depending on where you live, you might need to check your local ordinances on legal carry."
"Many people have asked me what kind of knife to get and Im a knife collector and I always tell them to get this knife first."
"Sharp, strong and light pretty much says it all."
