Reviews
"Several reviews here state to load the first cartridge or even show it in a video using the magazine loader on the first cartridge and that is not the proper way to use this product. You are supposed to load the first cartridge into the magazine by hand and that is usually not a problem as the first cartridge is easy to load."
"I'd give this product 5 stars but I have only got to use it a couple times so far (it's been really cold this winter)."

"Holding the front panel depressed, the left index finger over the loader top strap and gripping with the remaining fingers, the left arm is used to press down, depressing the magazine follower enough that the first round can be placed on the tongue with no trouble or force."
"At the firing range this little thing can save your poor fingertips from bleeding and blisters if you're firing hundreds of rounds."
"Works just as it should."
"I'll have to buy a single and another double to fit the 45."
"It's just a piece of 3d printed hard plastic, but it saves my thumbs."
"I loaded three 9mm cartridges into my new double stack magazine to top it off with the max number allowable."
"worked on the M&P shield 45acp ,but not the M&P 2.0 45 acp, did work somewhat on 1911."

Ultimate Cliploader UCL22 Ruger Pistol 50 Round Magazine Speed Loader
Saves time and aggravation plus wear and tear on your thumb. Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
Reviews
"I ran two drops of gun oil on a cleaning cloth up into the magazine end to lubricate the retaining ball bearing. I've put 6.5 bricks of ammo through my Speed Loader and I can say that it is still the best money I've spent on my Ruger. I continue to throw gun oil at the ball bearing and the corner of the bullet track where it starts to lean the rounds over."
"I hold the loader straight up, letting mean 'ol Mr. gravity do the work, and once again, shake it until cartridges call into the magazine. I shoot steel challenge, and this gadget makes getting five magazines loaded in very little time."
"But as a side effect, you WILL be buying a lot more bullets as this enables you to spend more time shooting than loading..."
"To give some perspective on the speed I normally take a fresh box of 325 federal ammo and can't come close to using it all in an hour, with this clip loader I used a whole box before my hour was up."
"The clip loader can hold about 100 rounds and it takes me about 30 seconds or so to load 5 mags once I got the thing adjusted and and myself used to it."
"It will allow you to insert the mag backwards but it won't actually load ammo that way. I was shooting too much ammo before I had this. Side Note: To un-jam, swear, make sure gun is empty, insert empty mag to disengage the mag safety, turn safety off, point gun down in a safe direction, pull and hold trigger, while keeping the trigger pulled smack the back of the bolt seriously with a rubber mallet to get the hammer to go forward and un-jam, remove and re-install trigger spring hopefully with the hammer strut aligned with the spring this time."

Nesco FD-75A Snackmaster Pro Food Dehydrator, White - MADE IN USA
Opaque Vita-Save exterior helps block harmful light which destroys nutritional content of food being dehydrated. The hot air is forced horizontally across each individual tray, converging on the core for fast, even and nutritious drying.
Reviews
"I bought this dehydrator sort of like many people did: after reading the things you can do with it, I got all excited, thinking, "I'm going to dehydrate EVERYTHING and it's going to be amazing!!!" So far, I've used the dehydrator to make a couple of batches of each of: - Apple chips (thin apple slices soaked for a few hours in a combo of lemon juice and cranberry juice, then dried). - beef jerky (this dehydrator comes with a starter park for jerky, plus I made my own marinade the next time). - chicken jerky. - bacon bits (the ends and "bad cuts" of my own home-cured, smoked bacon, finely chopped, cooked, and then dehydrated. The temperature can be dialed in from 95ºF to 160ºF as printed on the top (remember that problem I mentioned? Well, I have tested the actual running temperature of the dehydrator against the printed values on the dial, and they're not even close. I used several methods to determine the temperature: 1) A Mastercool Digital Infrared Thermometer pointed directly into an exhaust vent (see photo) with the dial set to the maximum 160ºF. 4) A digital metal probe thermometer (Lavatools Thermowand) inserted into both the upper and lower exhaust ports. In all cases (except #3, which responded too slowly) I was able to see the lower temperature at which the heater kicked on, as well as the upper temperature at which the heater turned off (in theory, this would be right around the number printed on the dial). - At the 135ºF setting on the dehydrator, the actual temperature maxed out at around 120ºF, at which point the heater turned off and the temperature dropped slowly until the heater came back on. - At the 160ºF setting (maximum), it was the same story but with an actual temperature topping out at around 135ºF. What concerns me is this unit's suitability for jerky -- the minimum recommended temperature for any meat is 160ºF when making jerky. I'm not too terribly concerned about the beef jerky because I routinely eat beef at a much lower temperature than that (though it does make a good case for refrigerating the jerky in this case), but the chicken jerky could have gone pretty badly!"
"The 3rd reason I love this dehydrator is simple, it produces the best tasting dehydrated foods I've ever had, I'm and avid outdoorsman and have dehydrated everything from deer to turkey, family friends insist I start selling the jerky made with this product. With all that being said, if you have a dehydrator that is getting old/malfunctioning or just want to start making your own dehydrated foods, this product is for you, don't pass this one up, you will not be dissatisfied with your purchase."
"First, lets talk about performance: Only in a few ocasions I could dry something with less than 12 hours using a moderate temperature and thin slices. But a 4,5 or 4,7 stars would be more fair, since this dehydrator has a lot of good points and we live in a very humid area, in the sea coast. I think if you are willing to put some peppers in a dehydrator, you should use very low temperatures, those used to dry herbs and other fragile stuff. I can not believe some people say this dehydrator makes some undesirable noise to the point that they need to put them in a room far from their bedroom otherwise they couldn't sleep! The gray and white marble finish fits incredibly well in any room, like it's camouflaged, hard to explain. Dehydrated fruits leave virtually no residue, they stick very lightly to the trays and can be easily pulled out. Not a single banana or any other fruit like apples got stuck in the trays to the point that they couldnt be removed easily with the fingers, and entire, not in fragments. (Room temperature: 28 Celsius) With 9 trays full of fruits: 1st hour: 650 Watts (average). Explanation: the first hours take more power because the machine is heating the trays so the thermostat rarely turns off. After a few hours, the thermostat only activates ocasionally to refresh the temperature, since the trays are already heated and only need a maintenance to keep the warm air flow. When the electric resistance turns off, the measure of wattage reads 28 watts, that's the power consumption of the fan (negligible). I will update this review if anything unexpected occurs, or if I have any important thing to add, like new food experiences, et cetera. To finish this review, I'd like to apologize for my awful English, I had a hard time writting this because I am not a native speaker, so tell me if something sounds odd or particularly unusual, I can clarify your questions in the comments section."

Best Gun Locks

Case Club Locking Hardware for Steel Ammo Can
Turn your steel ammo can into a secure locking case with Case Club's Ammo Can Locking Hardware. Stainless steel hardware which helps prevent rust, and no thread locking adhesive required!
Reviews
"I bought a cheap (Neiko) titanium step drill bit (Bit #3 (9 steps): 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4") here on Amazon (you get three of them for like 12$), This particular bit can be used to drill through the latch hole and in to the case, and when you hit the 5/8" step on the latch you have the right sized hole for the lug in the case."
"I watched several videos on "You Tube" showing how to lock a Steel Ammo can and all of them have merit and do the job. It would be a good idea to first close the ammo box latch and then install the stud, checking for proper fit before tightening the inside lock nut."
"Heed their instructions well--if the hole isn't drilled exactly centered, the ammo can latch won't close, and then you're going to have to file or dremel the latch to fit the hardware."
"The lock stud diameter simply can't be drilled out to accommodate a larger Master lock."
"If you like your ammo can for toting your stuff to the range, this is a must have bit of hardware."
"Easy installation if you have a drill, bits and a step bit, from Harbor Freight for about six bucks, to enlarge the hole in the latch."
"I would prefer a flat surface inside the box so that a pressure point would not be present on the inside of the ammo box, but the box would still be water tight."
"Put them on all my ammo boxes, your going to have to do a bit of work fitting them but they are nice quality and make your boxes very secure."

"Very good quality sling swivel."

"Works perfectly!"
"I purchased this for my AR-15 Magpul CTR stock."

Reviews
"it blinded my wife for about 5 seconds so it gets 5 stars!"
"I've had this light on my P320 Compact Carry for some time now, have ZERO gripes about it."
"I went into my friends half-acre backyard and had them flash me from over 100 feet away and it made me feel instantly disoriented and I looked away. However, I have not shot the gun with the light attached yet so I can't quite talk about its durability, though Streamlight seems to have good reviews on that end. Also, the other night the strobe feature stopped working but I just emailed them, I'll post an update to this review to see how that turns out."
"Now, i understand that the scuff is a nit-pick, and It makes me feel guilty because i’ve heard countless great things about this device and the company behind it, but my 3-star rating will stand until I am able to properly use it."
"Very bright, mounted to my Glock 23 with ease."
"I looked for a long time and read various reviews before deciding to purchase this light for my Smith&Wesson M&P 9 Pro."
"I can't see paying $300 or more dollars for a flashlight from surefire or other competitors when this one does the exact same thing for such a good price!"
"All I can say here is that this light is blinding."

Best Hunting & Shooting Gun Holders

Caldwell Lead Sled Solo Shooting Rest
The Lead Sled Solo has an integrated weight tray that will hold a single 25 pound bag of shot. The latest addition to Caldwell's line of recoil-reducing rests, the Lead Sled Solo provides a fraction of the recoil while securely holding your gun on target. And shooters will love the Lead Sled Solo's unique offset frame, which is designed to accommodate all rifles, including detachable magazine rifles as well as lever action guns. To attach the rifle, simply use the welded steel brace to secure the butt of the gun and the integrated front strap to secure the rifle to the rest. Greatly reduces recoil while keeping gun on target. Measures 26 inches long and 18 inches wide; weighs 14 pounds.
Reviews
"Took this to a state park rifle range with a friend and used 2 ratchet straps to firmly secure it to the concrete shooting benches at the location (perpendicular to shooting direction)."
"I had a different Lead Sled purchased years ago that couldn't clear the pistol grip on an AR, or allow for a high cap mag."
"But, it would be nice if the front support arm was longer and had 2 or 3 holes to choose from, so the front support could be moved a bit for different length guns."
"Sled is light and easy to carry, use of 10-20 pound weight helps with recoil but it does have one problem, butt rest is sloppy."
"One thing about the large bag is that it will not fit down in the tray completely, preventing you from keeping a 30 round Magpul PMAG in your AR15, but it still serves it's purpose in keeping the Lead Sled from moving."
"I've used Bean bag mount in the past and this blows them out of the water for stability. The height adjust is a must for getting the sight on target 100 yards plus."
"I'm not totally sure it needs it with smaller calibers but I've been shooting 5.56, 5.45, .308 and 7.63x39 out of it with some noticeable jump which requires you to reposition the rest. This is easily and one handed shooter and the Velcro strap on the barrel rest works fantastic to keep the sights on target."
"There's plenty of level adjustments to work with."

Best Hunting Gun Monopods & Bipods

Harris Engineering S-BRM Hinged Base 6 - 9-Inch BiPod
Legs are spring loaded, for fast deployment. Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
Reviews
"Two flaws: One, the tilt lock knob is impossible to hand-tighten, which is why everyone who buys this bipod also buys a replacement lever to make hand-tightening doable."
"The bipod is VERY sturdy. Recoil will back this out and cause the bipod to become loose."
"This item is built to last a lifetime!"
"These were on my gun in less than 30 seconds and I have never put one on before."
"Can't be beat, used them in the service, got this one for my 10/22 match."
"Bought several in the past that were flimsy and would rock back and forth while trying to hold steady."
"It's a Harris!"
"Very well made."

Best Hunting & Shooting Gun Grips

Pearce Grips, Grip Extensions
The 2-Pack Pearce Grip, Model PG-29-2PK replaces the magazine base plate and retains all other factory components on a Glock 29 magazine. Uses friction fit for retention.
Reviews
"I also bought the talon grips as well and they sell a Pearce mag extension grip part as well for these."
"Design is excellent for its stated purpose - it's much easier to get a full 3 fingers on the grip with these compared to even the Ruger OEM extension. However, they definitely do print a bit more depending on your method of carry (I tried empty front jeans pocket, bare and in a DeSantis Nemesis). The "pin" in the bottom spring plate on my aftermarket (Pro-Mag) magazines does NOT fit in the hole in the Pierce extended baseplate."
"Slowly slide the plastic end off and keep one hand on the plastic end and the the other hand on the inside of the magazine so it does not spring out."
"They make the grip much more comfortable and controllable by adding enough length to the front of the grip, but not adding any to the rear of the grip."
"Not a bad extention, but it still does not give me as muck room for my pinky finger as I had hoped."
"I would have gotten these for all of my short XDS magazines, except that I occasionally carry in a Sneaky Pete "cellphone carrier," which requires both a short magazine and a flat baseplate."
"With the extension installed, that same gap is now zero. I measured the extension and original plate between the top of the channel, where it slides onto the magazine, and the top of the plate (where it would meet the pistol grip). The original measures ~ 2.8 mm and the extension measures ~ 3.2 mm."

Magpul MAG460-BLK SGA Buttstock Remington, 870 Shotgun, Black
SGA Stock, Fits Remington 870, Black. Brings Magpul design and engineering to another classic American firearm.
Reviews
"I loved that stock as well."
"If you are looking for a stock that has a user adjustable LOP to fit different shooters stature or gear requirements, and can help facilitate a modern squared shooting stance then this one of the best choices on the market."
"I thought this would be a nice way to make my gun easily adjustable for both me and my wife to shoot since the LOP spacers on the stock can be changed with one bolt."
"The grip angle is not as different from the Remington stock as I thought, so I was a little disappointed with that."
"So its well known that magpul makes greet stuff but this stock is the most amazing stock I have ever felt on an 870 and the length of pull adjustment makes it that much better."
"You will need a Phillips and a slotted screwdriver to remove your factory 870 stock and Magpul supplies you with the replacement bolt and a hex key to install the Magpul stock."
"Very good stock!"
"My favorite 870 Shotgun stock."

"In conjunction with other recoil reducing upgrades (buffer, spring, comp) it all comes together to deliver a smoother firing AR and faster follow up shots."
"The buttpad comes with two extra screws with their own locktite on it, but I just re-used the screws that were used with the CTR stock buttpad."
"Fits onto my magpul .308 stock with no problems."
"I was looking for extra recoil protection and good looks."
"If you found this product, congratulations your either stupid lucky, or you've done your homework."

Best Hunting & Shooting Gun Stock Accessories

Voodoo Tactical Buttstock Cheek Rest with Ammo Carrier Case
Adjustable to fit most stocks. Removable center pad to lower eye relief.
Reviews
"The bottom is to long in the middle to get it real tight on a standard stock like my savage accustock but the front and back Straps will tighten down good and then I cut off excess."
"It fits my M1A Scout, mostly... Rear and forward straps fit tight and as designed. The extra velcro cover/bullet holder is a waste for me, but some may find it nice."
"Looks and feels great."
"The front strap went as expected, the rear strap I wrapped all the way around and attached to the left side of the stock, the middle strap I ended up looping under to the right side and only using the loop portion of the strap, I then covered it with the ammo carrier and that seems to be holding well."
"This is a very well thought out cheek raiser."
"Product is of good quality, but the straps are so freaking long and it is impossible to tighten on certain rifles."
"As others have said, it's a bit of a pain to get the middle strap in the right place."
"This works really well on an m14."
