Aside from him being excited about the stick in general he kept talking about how nice it was. My son added some grip tape to it and has played "goalie" for his little sisters who have lighter, softer sticks but love to play hockey and emulate their bigger brothers. I even make him keep an Otterbox case on his phone at all times because he's broken so many phones and I was sick of paying the deductible to replace them. My husband said he's surprised at the quality of the stick and that good quality is hard to find nowadays without paying an arm and a leg."
