"Pros: Extremely durable. great price (gives you more peace of mind when being rough with it). great size, perfect for carry-on (taken on around 10+ flights, never a problem). fairly light when empty. Convenient storage on top pouch with an underside zip up pocket for more protected items. One of the drink holders is slightly smaller than the other, making it more effort to get my large size (in diameter) nalgene bottle in it. I had to stick my hand on the inside and guide them past some material that was inside the frame pocket."
"If you have a Scout and need a day pack or backpack TETON IS THE ONE WITHOUT REGRETS!"
"I took this backpacking through Central and South America because I wasn’t willing to commit to a big one."
"coming from someone that buys camping and hiking gear knowing full well that i am going to beat it up. the sleeping bag layer is a tad bit small."
"But there is no access hole for the tube to get water from the bladder to your mouth."
"Pros: -Comfortable, easy to adjust and tighten straps. -Enough pockets. -Comes with rain cover, pretty water resistant on it's own. -Big enough for a week-long trip, small enough to fit in the overhead bin on a flight. Cons: -Construction quality leaves a little to be desired."
"I bought the orange pack for the high visibility and it is great, not obnoxiously colored, but very noticeable."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I recieved this pack a few days ago and to be honest I was concerned that it wouldn't adjust to fit me. This pack has hidden pockets just about everywhere, which is nice when you have lots of gear you want to get at without unpacking everything. I started stuffing all my things in this pack to see what kind of balance it had and it felt great and was very sturdy."
"I've loaded and unloaded the pack a few times trying to tweak my load for a 3 day 63 mile Florida Trail hike from Lake Okeechobee to Hobe Sound (Ocean to Lake Trail). I thought the stitching in some areas would be reinforced a little better like another pack I own, but it still seems solid and I don't see any potential issues. Unfortunately, my recent workouts are limited to carrying a baby throughout the day and heavy reps curling 12oz IPAs:). I'll update my review if I run into any issues after three days of hard use."
"I use this now with my son on his scouting campouts when we both go."
"Only reason I gave these a 4 and not a 5 is because the stitching for the chest strap on mine gave out on our first trip."
"I fit tons of stuff into it. I made sure to buy the Teton sports Tracker +5 degree sleeping bag to made sure it fit in the lower compartment which it did with a little room to spare. I was also able to fit my Klymit static V sleeping pad into that compartment as well."
"Before I bought the pack a lot of people say the sleeping bag pocket is very tight."
"Only issue was the zipper on the very top."
"So far this hasn't been used on any type campout or hike."

Find Best Price at Amazon"As soon as I received the pack, I emptied my $250, big name high-end pack, and transferred all the gear to this one: In the pack-. -cookset. -alcohol stove. -food. -headlamp, lantern. -map and compass. -3lb sleeping bag (30degree). -hammock with bugnet and straps. -hammock underquilt (25 degree). -9'6" x 12' silnylon tarp. On outside of pack. -2 water bottles. -hatchet. -extra sleeping pad (I did not need this extra pad, but I wanted to test all the gear straps). All of this only filled the pack about 3 quarters of the way, there was more than enough room for a lot more gear, but this is all I usually take. First of all, this pack is very light at 3.5lbs. -Starting from the top of the pack, there is a two pocket lid. -Slightly below and to the sides of the lid was a nice surprise: 2 zippered and very DEEP pockets on the outside of the pack. This pocket is covered by two buckled straps that could secure other gear. -There are 2 tool attachments on the outside of the pack with gear loops at the bottom and heavy duty velcro at the top. -Moving to the front of the pack (or back, whichever way you look at it) the shoulder straps are nicely padded and covered with a very comfortable mesh. -The back panel is a trampoline mesh, and does a good job letting air through to your back, though it does not hold the pack completely away from your back. They add really nice stability, and the pack is very comfortable here. The bag material, while not quite as nice as my high-end pack, is extremely nice for a pack in this price range. My teen, who will be using this pack, is 5'1" and 100lbs. However, I would not recommend this particular pack for larger people because the hipbelt pockets end up too far back to be useful, and the water bottle holders difficult to access. The features on this pack simply can't be found on most packs in this price range. Don't keep important items in the hip belt pockets duting a deluge, but the rain flu actually did keep the body of the packs dry."
"We ordered two backpacks for a three day (30 mile) hike up in the mountains of North Carolina. We set off on our hike, leaving our more expensive bags behind in opt for these lower capacity and lighter weight ones. Overall: The price is not a great deal if the fundamental and most important equipment for a long mountain trek starts to fall apart."
"I needed an upgrade to my cheap hiking backpack that would last me a long time. According to REI, 55L backpacks are generally good for weekend hikes (1-3 days) but with external attachments, you can extend that trip even longer. There is compression straps on the side, bottom, on top, and in front of the backpack. This is perfect to attach your tent, sleeping pad, tarp, wet clothes, etc to make more room for other stuff inside the backpack. This is great for those trying to pack light, because at the end of the day, it is just more comfortable. Sleeping bag compartment: some people have issue with the size of the compartment bit I think its perfect for those summer sleeping bags. I still find a lot fo extra room after putting in my sleeping bag but that’s because mine is pretty small after it is compressed. This creates a more streamline capacity for the backpack that may be useful if you’re not intending to use a sleeping bag anyway. There is one long, but shallow pocket in the front of the backpack underneath the “H” compression strap. This is good for thinner items that you need to access in a pinch instead of opening up the backpack like bug nets, rain jackets, or a map. Because the padding is behind my pelvis, I have the bend my arm backwards to reach the hip pocket."

Find Best Price at Amazon"So, the pack had to deal with daily, very heavy loads plus it had to deal with a guy that was big enough to manhandle it fully-loaded. pack despite packing my rain gear on top and taking other basic measures to protect from the rain. I'm not taking points away from the pack because they are claiming any waterproofing, but it sure would have been nice and user beware if they are listening to the other reviewers claiming good use in the rain."
"I had a minimalist day pack stuffed inside of this that I would use when leaving camp each day. The day after I took the elk, I wore this pack from 8am - 11pm hauling meat off of the mountain (had to make 2 trips)."
"This is impressive value for the money... We had a little problem with one of the ones we ordered (they had sewed the belt on upside down) but, as always, Amazon handled the return fast and professionally and the two we have now couldn't be better made. I found that it kept knocking my head but then I adjusted it and it is fine now... but if you strap things to the top of your pack like pads, wet gear, etc. The pockets on this mother are all large and handy, most have tie-down webbing on them and since they are so big, you have the option of carrying bulkier items like water bottles and scopes in them. The belt has some good-sized pouches on it as well as a webbing loop on each side for attaching a sidearm which is a HUGE benefit in my book!"

Find Best Price at Amazon"I wanted a smaller, lightweight bag to carry a few items for myself and my 2 dogs while hiking, especially during camping trips."
"), sunscreen, boonie hat, baseball cap, glasses case, passport, iPhone, charger, socks...basically everything I needed for a day PLUS contingencies (sans towels). The incredibly lightweight material feels pretty strong for normal wear and tear, and it's relatively water resistant. I'm a big dude, and, while I looked like a tween girl with a mini-backpack, I was totally comfortable in this pack, and it easily went on and off."
"Ive been hiking with this bag over the last few weeks."
"I needed a packable, waterproof backpack for my trip to Brazil and this was perfect!"
"I bought several nylon backpacks on Amazon prior to my trip last month, to determine which size or brand that I would like. The side pockets easily hold my either or both a 12oz or 16oz stainless steel water bottle, or my sunglasses. This pack nicely survived a two-week trip to Europe last month as my purse and daypack, as we traveled by bus and train. It carried all of my usual "purse" items as well as an extra shirt, socks, snacks, pill organizer, with room to add a few souvenirs. The other brand of similar backpacks were not as comfortable on me, and one had annoyingly loud material (I think that was the MCIRCO 20L). Both sizes fold back neatly into a little pouch, but frankly, I can't see me ever putting them away. I also bought an Outlander (33L) in Black for my husband to carry, but he didn't mind the dark purple color."

For wide mouth bladder, you can place it in the large hole to keep it from sliding to the bottom If you replace it with small mouth bladder, you can slide it into the small hole to fix the bladder. Will fit chest sizes from teenagers/kids with 27" up to adults (men and women) with 50" chest size. Enough to get you through a day of hiking, cycling, running or biking.

Find Best Price at Amazon"Pack comes in a heavy zip lock baggie to protect it from any shipping damage. If your tired of tasting your sweat and dust on the mouth piece then this is the one you want. With 1.5 liters of water capacity and a very snug fit we highly recommend this hydration pack for drills, maneuvers, hiking, running, climbing, jumping."
"When the product arrived, I cleaned out the bladder, filled it with water, and put the straps over my shoulder. I cleaned and installed the new bladder, and I'm not having ZERO leaking issues."
"After my first use on the trails. I read where some said the bladder gave an after taste. I read where some say the hose connection leaks; mine appears well made and love the easy on easy off...mine doesn't leak. I do love the bite cover (I mountain bike and crunching on sand is over rated). With the shoulder, chest and belly straps, mine stayed where I put it. About a month and several hundred mikes with the pack...including several spills."
"The chest straps are adjustable but still sit weird. Mine kept sliding off a little and while it never fell I was defi Italy concerned it would."
"Man I must say that this little backpack exceeded my expectations (except for the bite valve which broke only after 30 minutes of use)..."
"When we cleaned and prepped for the weekend one bladder leaked and we could not get the attachments (the attachment from the hose to the bladder) to seal correctly and it leaked all weekend."
"was able to dance around too no problem, I liked the extra straps for waste band that kept everything secure.pack is very comfortable and holds plenty of water - I was hitting the bathroom a lot so I know it was working lol. my only complaint is the blue rubber mouth piece to drink water popped off on day two, and it was a complete PITA to get it back on."
