This is an easy fix: turn down the volume to a comfortable level and depress the volume knob until you hear two beeps. Thereafter, your unit's volume will remain set to the level you selected. Satellite antenna-placement: You can opt place the magnetic antenna for the navigation system somewhere on the roof of your vehicle; however, the system will work perfectly well with that antenna placed on top of the Jensen VX7020 unit within the dashboard. Bluetooth: By default, the unit is set to pair via Bluethooth using the “0000” passkey. iGO Navigation: It works well and the choice of voices means that you aren't badgered by that same horrid woman who tells you to rescan your item at the self-checkout lane (as is the case with my Garmin Nuvi). If you don't set the navigation settings to offer up advanced warnings for course changes, you might miss that left or right turn you should have taken-- and, instead of re-plotting your course, you may be badgered with repeated suggestions of “at next intersection, turn back.”. Also, some have made a big issue of the warnings made by this unit when you go over the speed-limit."
"99% of the time this is a result of not removing the to set screw on to of the unit that hold the DVD drive and laser in place during shipping. This unit also has a hidden menu that allows for parking brake bypass, disabling macro vision ( so you can play burnt or download audio and video files) along with quite a few other features. The parking brake can also be bypassed by wiring the parking break wire, ignition, ground and remote turn on wire up with a relay ( spdt five wire ) if you need instructions for this look it up on YouTube."

After about two hours of tuning and putting the unit to the test by pumping multiple musical genres (Metal/Rock, Reggae, R&B, Hip Hop, Classical and Country) through her, the unit went into protection mode. I'd hoped that the unit would run cool enough by itself to avoid a shut down but I also knew that the Styrofoam storage shelf is a perfect insulator and has virtually no air flow. Stage two of the install was the addition of two 3 inch 12V cooling fans, (one intake fan and one exhaust fan) connected to the remote power wire, which turns them on when the Amp is powers up, and strategically placed on the hottest side of the amp; blowing the majority of fresh, cooler air pressure on the left side of the storage box and pulled out by the exhaust fan at end of the air channel, blown out into a different chamber to avoid the re-circulation of hot air back onto the amp."
