"It also has a carabiner clip intended to better secure a sidearm blaster but it's actual usage can be rather cumbersome and in my opinion it is really there for nothing more than holding your keys. The fabric is not as breathable as the nylon net-like material that the cheaper vests have on the back, and this may get sweaty and smelly very quickly if not (hand, not machine) washed regularly."

"I originally didn't want this due to the fact that the holster was held onto the vest via velcro, however I had numerous assurances that the holster was secure. The back straps are adjusted when the the vest is worn, making perfect fitment very easy. The vest includes an extra double rifle magazine pouch which can either be used with the velcro backing as a replacement for the chest-mounted pistol holster, or with the two loops on the back as a belt-mounted pouch. I loaded the vest with a Beretta 92FS with 15-round magazines and AR-15 30-round magazines. In addition to the velcro, there are two straps that secure the holster to the vest, however these straps would have been much better placed on the outside of the holster in order to better hold the pistol and holster to your body. There is an additional magazine pouch on the holster, but it uses elastic which makes the magazine feel more snug in the pouch. Rifle Magazine Pouches: There are four rifle magazine pouches, each hold two Magpul AR-15/M-16 30-round magazines very comfortably. I've heard people claim this vest will hold four AR-15 magazines with the holster in place, yet I had no trouble fitting eight magazines... twelve if you make use of the included extra magazine pouch. Pistol Magazine Pouches: There are three chest-mounted pistol magazine pouches, each will hold one double-stack magazine very comfortably. Each pouch will hold two single-stack magazines just fine. Large Pouch: The larger pouch mounted midway up on the right side fits my gloves, or just about anything else similar sized. Small Pouch: The small pouch mounted high on the left shoulder is a bit awkward to get to, but holds a Cammenga compass, small radio/GPS unit, etc. Even with a full sized Beretta pistol, eight loaded AR15 magazines and four loaded pistol magazines, it's very comfortable to wear. Flipping the extra magazine pouch over, one belt loop is 3/8" higher then the other, and the velcro patch is so poorly cut out that I ended up squaring it up myself. Second, in addition to my complaints about the holster, above, the plastic clip that is adjustable and snaps the pistol in does not hold it's adjustment. Every time I unclip the strap and remove the pistol from the holster, the plastic clip moves out and needs to be readjusted when putting the pistol back. So, if you decide to attach the vest's belt to your pants belt, you need to loop the belt though your pants and the keepers at the same time."
"They emphasize these 3 because gloves affect trigger and grip; goggles/glasses affect sight; and the vest determines the flow of ammunition (from vest to firearm) along with the convenience of life-saving equipment! It was too stiff (it feels like a spine alignment brace), the Velcro always made noise when I simply moved (and I'm not fat either, I'm 5'8" with a waist of 32 at 155lbs), and the vest was also surprisingly heavy regardless of the mesh. (Not flimsy mesh material, but heavy duty and thick). - Lots of pockets (FOUR .223/5.56mm magazine pockets and THREE pistol magazine pockets with Velcro fastening). - Gives two options of either using a pistol holster (fits Glock 17, M1911, and P220 just fine) or an TWO additional magazine pockets bringing you a total of SIX rifle magazine pockets. - Has a walkie-talkie pocket at the left collar bone. - Macho belt with 2 slim pockets. - Vest has THREE very very large internal pockets/pouches (2 on each side of the front and 1 at the back to hold a plate or a water pouch). - Does come with a Velcro'ed-on 6-shotgun-shell-holder (mainly for switching to specialty shells such as breaching shells); you may also choose to take this off and put a name patch on instead (when using the shell holder, Velcro may not be strong enough to keep it fastened). Cons: - Quality is definitely a (4/5), the vest is a tad bit uneven at certain areas (but you might get lucky and buy a perfect one). - Very stiff (Please read my Recommendation(s)/Suggestion(s) section below). - Aside from choosing the 2 mag attachment or pistol holster, this vest is not customizable like the real Fight Load Carriers. - Although this vest is adjustable, it really fits people best who are at least 5'10" (178cm) and have a waistline of at least 34" (86.36cm); so if you're bigger than that and under 7' tall then this will work for you. - Very sharp corners on certain areas (most notably the Velcro sections). - Although this vest is heavy duty, it is also just heavy (over long trips, it will begin to slow you down); also this vest is not exactly the best quality, yet still strong. - Straps are very annoying and difficult to adjust (I doubt you can adjust it while wearing, but it's still faster than lacing it like BLACKHAWK's vests). - If you're not tall like me, the shoulder Velcro adjustment is not a problem; however, when you adjust it, it'll leave a fold in the mesh and can feel annoying after a while (could potentially cause blisters around that area if it chafes). - The vest smells terrible (go wash it because the camouflage won't help if people can smell you first!). - Speaking of camouflage, the right side rifle stock grip with the plastic tube is black (defeats the purpose of the whole camouflage). Recommendation(s)/Suggestion(s): - Round the sharp corners of the Velcro by cutting it (it will take time, but it's worth it). - Give your vest a heavy wash in the washing machine (this eliminates the stiffness, now I can bend, lean forwards, etc. - Cut any extra threads (don't pull them off, you might undo a sewing). - Take off the little belt pockets if you're not going to use them to decrease weight (I took them off to attach bigger better pouches). Bottom line is, whether you're in the military or not, this vest is great as quick secondary choice tactical/emergency response jacket in real life situations."

"The shoulder strap padding is REALLY nice, has a non-slip surface where it contacts your shirt/jacket...though I do wish it had a little more adjustability, so as to shorten them more (they are pretty long straps and sewn in at points). There are Velcro lash points for hydro tube on both sides, on the shoulder padding and again on the front vest panel itself. There are side straps with wide buckles that join the front and back panels that ride between your body and the cumberbund."
"Needed a new plate carrier but couldn't get the Voodoo Tactical PC in black multicam here in time so I ordered this as a temp until I can get that one."
"Loved all the pocket and it was nice to adjust it to fit perfecr."
"Great vest ."
"Some of the out of the way places we go shooting are a tough pack in to get there, so besides a small pack, I have this vest set up for the 12 gauge and 9mm."
"Pouch wise I've put in the Condor triple mag pouch made to go inside the map pouch of the carrier, 3x HSGI X2RP Taco pouches in the front, 2x HSGI X2R Taco pouches on each side, 3x HSGI pistol Taco pouches on the chest, 1x Condor Rip Away EMT pouch on the lower back along with a Condor Hydration II carrier on the back. Even with all of that loaded on the carrier, with all the magazines kept loaded in it, the carrier has no sag or drooping to it."
"I am 6 foot and 260 pounds and this thing still can adjust bigger so its a great vest for any of us plus size guys and gals trying to squeeze into a plate carrier. I love the color and so far the vest seems to be made of great quality material."
"Does not fit 6x8 side plates, only 6x6."
