"When the rebar steaks i intended to use failed to penetrate the gravely terrain i was in, i used these."
"You should use a rubber mallet to pound them in or you risk loosening or breaking the green heads."
"They are heavy so I am not sure that I would want to lug them very far in a backpack but if you are camping out of the back of a car with a minimal hike they work great."
"Was very important to us especially since we have a 2 month old who was going to be napping in the tent solo most of the time we were camping."
"Just the thing for those badly made campground tent beds that wreck aluminum stakes."
"Everyone on the reviews were right-- the little green plastic part broke off easily on the first use for half of the stakes."
"These stakes go in with ease in the hardest ground with a little help of a rubber mallet and I’ve never had an issue pulling them out with the help of the green plastic piece they come with."

The clear drive tool stores on the screw when not in use and slips into the top eyelet to form a T-grip for increased leverage in difficult soils. Uses: Firm Soils, Tent Stakes, Small Dogs, Tarp Tie Downs, Landscaping, Camping.

"Most of the reviews talked about using these in sand or soft soil, i.e. beach, etc. I've not been in a 60 MPH wind storm so I can only attest to everyday still air and mild windy conditions."
"these really do work and do not pull out in high winds."
"Bought these to simplify setting up and breaking down a badminton net, using spring snap link hooks to attach to these versus having to hammer in the stakes for the guide/support lines."
"Result: Bounce house tipping over with kids in it."
"Needless to say, there is a wind that may pull them up, but on normal wind days at the beach, they are super."
"In both cases i wish they came with an acrylic tube per screw, basically to protect you from the sharp end."
"I ordered these to secure a sun shade at the beach."

I responded that I was happy with the lights and mentioned the cracked globe and that I had broken one of the spikes. The seller sent a whole new set of lights, not just a replacement globe and spike."
"The stainless steel finish is beautiful. Easy to install, a beautiful stainless steel finish, bright, delivered fully charged, rechargeable batteries, and a lifetime guarantee- who could ask for anything else?"
"Nice product, clear lenses, and they are made of aluminum(not chrome plated plastic) They have stayed nice & brite thru the nite til morning(about 10 hours) got 'em for a good price on amazon & I'm happy with 'em!!!"
"I got one that the top keeps falling of during the night, but suspect that a deer may trip over it in the wee hours as we have many who visit our yard to munch on wild raspberries."
"The lights were delivered promptly and since they have a life time guarantee I don't anticipate any problems if they cease to function."
"Our SolarGlow lights arrived right on time and my husband had no trouble at all installing them."
"You may wish to replace the 600 mAh battery AA sized, with a larger capacity perhaps a 1500 or 2000 version if your placement is in full sun thus guaranteeing light the entire night."
"Excellent quality lights."

"I bought this kit for my husband after our first camping trip and my husband 1) forgot to bring a mallet and broom and dustpan and 2) the stakes that came with our tent all bent the first time we tried to hammer them in."
"I use these stakes over the stakes that come with the tent as these are much better gage."
"The giant metal nails are great for stakes, but you will need a better way to pull them out of the ground."
"We didn't really need this but I thought it would be nice to have just in case."
"I knew the plastic would break as they always do but the stakes still work well and its a great kit to have and the dustpan and mini broom are a must have for any tent user."
"I prefer a mallet over a hammer because I hate the metal-on-metal of certain tent spikes, it tends to ruin both items. While you do have covers for the tent spikes, those are easy to lose and once lost, the spikes quickly begin poking through the bag itself so I store them elsewhere."
"The hummer has strong rubber smell."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Short Review: Performs GREAT, easy to setup, and includes everything you need!! It was a nice and sunny day.. My GF said, "Hey we forgot rain jackets lets take this umbrella". At the top of the mountain (End of the hike before we turned around) my GF was like "LOOK AT THE FOG! I was like "Thats why they call this the Smoky Mountains" (Keep in mind, this was a few days after the Gatlinburg Fires so it could have been real smoke).. I put my Scouting background to use and was like "CRAP THIS IS A STORM coming over the mountain and its moving FAST" (Again we were high up so it was the CLOUD not fog!!).. She said "You will be single after this hike I told you to bring the umbrella".. Pancaking to save my relationship, I remember I told my GF to carry the "Bear Butt" bag! I use the bear butt branded backpack with the hammock and straps and just leave it in my trunk! Plus I hate buying budget gear only to find out I have to spend $20+ on the other items I need to use it! Tons of colors available - Match your hammocks, biners and even straps!! Dirty looks from other hikers when they found out the couldn't fit under it because I already had around 6 strangers!!"
"The bag that came with it is so long and narrow that I'm unable to get my hand inside it to really pack it down and have not been able to get the entire tarp into the stuff sack using this method."
"The lines with the little tightening cleats are nice and easy to use."
"However the stakes are a bit sharp....when I anchored the line to the stakes on a fairly windy day, they cut through the line and it snapped."
"The price on this rain fly (and all Bear Button products) is so much cheaper than their competitors."
"Thankfully I had a small amount of extra rope that was used to suspend my Bear Butt bug net and I was able to use that rope to pull the top tight and then I could use the two pieces of rope provided to pull the bottom tight to the stakes."
"I recommend setting this up under your hammock before you take this on any trip."
"Both provided stakes had multiple sharp edges that would have required significant file work to correct."
