"I want to start by saying this is an excellent trampoline. However, there are some things that could be improved so after giving this much thought I'm going with four. I'm very fair and objective with reviews (you can see my reviews and ratings). It is nearly impossible if not impossible to tip over. You could do a dive and wedge your head into the corner and probably get quite a bump but that's better than going head first over the side into the head of another person or child after a 3 foot drop. I wish I didn't have to use it and while using it was a 5 star experience the reason for using it nicks a star. AlleyOop dealt with the problem immediately and actually overnighted new legs to me so that I could get the trampoline together in time for a birthday party which surprise, the trampoline was the birthday present. pardon the trampoline joke. The old adage, you get what you pay for doesn't always seem to apply in this day and age. On the course grained pattern you can catch a front tooth easily if you face plant it with your mouth open (probably from laughing or smiling due to the fun). I used two tree rounds from a fallen tree to make huge steps up to the trampoline but you could use many things to make the transition easier. Summary. Action: 5 stars. Construction: 5 stars. Quality Control: 4 stars. Hardware: 4 stars. Ease of Assembly: 4 stars. Customer Service 5+++ stars. Fun Factor 10 stars."
"We've had this trampoline for nearly 10 years now- it's had TONS of hard use by kids, teenagers, and adults and I am just now needing to replace the padding (the parts of the padding that has finally failed is the stitching and bungee hold downs, due to sun damage. The kids later reinstalled the second mat and they like to climb in between the mats and hang out in the "fort" between them, so that is kind of an extra bonus for them too, I suppose."

"When you place the steps on the tubes for assembly, make sure they are facing the proper way (thinner side out). The design is fantastic and the flat plastic steps (as opposed to typical tubular steele) make all the difference for the kids and their bare feet. WHY I GAVE IT 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5. The only problem I have with this product is two missing parts ("bolt covers" x2). The problem is that if you do this, the end of the bolts are inside the stepping area of the ladder and could lead to scraped ankles or worse. Overall, despite the missing parts and minor confusion, I found this product to be better than others and perfectly suited for my needs."
