UPDATE: After using this motor for about 50hrs, I have an update - I still hold firm on the inability to turn to zero and knowing which speed you're actually on, this should really be addressed by Newport Vessels. Unfortunately after only 6 weeks of use, the sleeve collar that is underneath the motor direction clamp, broke - while I was on the water, rendering me to have the motor 2ft+ in the water at all times. I don't see that longevity with this motor - although, I do have to say, and I don't know if this is because I'm coming from an old 30lbs motor, but the motor on this is awesome."
