They are just enough longer than the Jaco (which I feel looks a bit too short to feel really comfortable wearing it in public). There was a comment about the shorter Jaco version, saying that, it was so short that it made some feel a bit uncomfortable and that was the reason they introduced a longer version. This Meister being constructed, through out, of two layers of high quality material with a draw string waist, works very well as a swim trunk, gym short, training short (as its intended purpose)."
