"I purchased a new O ring for the old drain and wrapped/used plumbers puddy on anything I could see to use it on, but it still leaked."
"It feels solid, the finish is excellent and matches the faucet ( http://www.amazon.com/Rozin®-Creative-Design-Bathroom-Brushed/dp/B0129YFLTY?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00 ) we ordered from Amazon, also, and is much simpler to operate than the traditional one where you have to pull the lever."
"For a vessel sink you’ll need like a 1.75” Hole not a standard 1.5” hole."
"Nice drain; however, we were hoping it would drain the water out much faster than it does due to the rubber ring/seal."
"Plenty of body to go through stone and vanity."
"Pretty, but almost thought it was the wrong product because it looks like it is way to big to fit in a sink but once it is in it looks nice."
"Was easy to install as replacement."
"Outstanding product."

"After installing a Push & Seal drain from Pfister that came with a new bathroom faucet I decided to change all the drains in the house for the Push and seal type. Pfister 972053Y Push And Seal Drain. KES ships the drain with two soft silicone gaskets and no instructions. I decided to go with KES since the Pfister was out of stock at the moment and KES was a better value. After installing the KES drain I tested the over flow for 10 minutes - No leaks."
"A small leak on the top gasket would not really be an issue anyway as it leaks into the overflow chamber but the plumbers putty sealed it and allowed a tighter fit to the sink. I noticed some comments about the pop up drain leaking before I purchased, but what I noticed was my sink was not a perfect contour for the drain flange so the silicon gaskets that came with the drain would not sufficiently work by themselves."
"My problem was my existing vanity sinks came with a regular "screen" type drain cover (i.e., 19-hole strainer), and as with many vanity sinks, it took a long time to drain or you had to help it by rubbing your finger over the top of the drain. it reduces the splatter when the water is running, and it drains immediately because the stopper creates a vortex effect in the drain preventing the air from being trapped. This is actually due to my vessel design, which allows the rim of the top drain piece to set slightly higher than the slope of the drain in the vessel."
"The bottom washer is far too thin to seal the overflow properly on its own and it leaked through the threads."
"It is $15 cheaper than what I can get at my local big box store, and they have some funky, complex doo-hickey with a center push button."
"And they both leaked, even after repeated tightening, to the point I was worried the ceramic vanity sinks would crack."
"Do Not Buy."

"This is a great product."
"Beautiful looking and clearly works with high end vessel sinks."
"Good quality product."
"In fact I don't know who the heck invented those stupid faucets that attach to the drain stopper using a stick that you pull up and down - why overcomplicate things and add more components to break and block up the drain?!"
"The drain has a large plastic seal where it mates to the sink bottom that forced me to enlarge the hole post tile installation."
"All five of my boxes came without necessary fitting parts."

"Allow approximately 3/4 of an inch of standing water (or more, depending on the depth of the tub basin, my tub needs about an inch maximum) to fill the tub, over/on top of the hair catcher - just leave the hair catcher where it is. With the water and gravity at work, the hair should come up as one big wet lump that easily attaches to the Q-tip (instead of several strands of hair that come off slowly and in a big mess, when you try to clean it bit by bit or when it is dry!). I wrap a paper towel around the hair lump, drop it in the trash, and the hair catcher is COMPLETELY clean, not a spare hair! Life is too short to be messing with cleaning the catcher by picking out each hair, strand by strand - it's such a prickly little guy, which I LOVE, but it defeats the purpose if you can't clean it quickly and easily after showering."
"I have the kind of drain with a screw-on plug."
"The gently upward-sloping rim has small soft and flexible rubber spines on it (which you can somewhat see from my photo) that grab at stray hair strands and the water draining down helps coil the hairs around the strainer, and the water flow creates a light downwards suction of the strainer."
"Wait, scratch that - I LOATHE touching wet, soapy-slimy hair that's clinging to dear life all around plastic little wet soapy-slimy finger hair grabbers."
"Only problem is that in doing so, it also prevents water from going down the drain."
"Sometimes the hair around the outside can be hard to remove, and I have to use an old toothbrush to really get the soap scum out."
"At first I loved this but as time went on the sides started to curl letting hair go underneath it."
"Impossible to clean hair and soap scum off of."
