I saw another reviewer had problems with some of the bulbs not coming on - I'm not sure if they got a faulty one, we got lucky, or something in between, but ours still works really well and is nearly blindingly bright if you have all the bulbs on."
"I always have a problem getting the right light to work on my cars - I miss the bright halogen lights."
"It has a strong magnetic mount to attach it to any steel surface, and gives off PLENTY of light."
"Twice the lights and smaller or more compact would be more to my liking."
"This thing gets super bright and is clearly very useful for mechanics and anyone needing light in dark places."
"Sometimes when he's fixing something around the apartment, the angle is weird and a regular flashlight just won't do the trick. My dad is an automobile insurance inspector, and I told him about this too for when he's inspecting under the hoods of cars."
"The only down-side I found when I used it was that if you bend it too far back, it will of course get off-balance and fall over, but my husband has found it so much more useful than I expected (and he hasn't complained about the balance thing) that I'm giving it 5 stars."
"Great product."

"Bought it hoping for a very wide beam width of the "flashlight" part. Switch function- Each press advances the sequence of: beam on, all lights off, lantern on, all lights off, beam on, all lights off... UPDATE- this has become more annoying- somehow I manage to think it is off after pressing the button but it's either still on and I don't notice the glow ring, or the button gets accidentally pushed by the other stuff in my lab coat pocket when I push against something, such as leaning in to a machine or laying on the ground working on equipment from below. UPDATE: I STILL with the magnet were stronger, just for peace of mind when I have the light stuck directly over me. Which is every time I use the light now. There is a plastic / rubbery "O" ring / wiper which goes around inside the small gap between the part of the body which slide apart to expose the side lantern part. I should get a rubber band or use some workaround, but I haven't yet- and it would still be a band-aid type fix and a hassle every time I use the light. The flashlight should use some different material for the friction wiper, or plastic conditioner or have smoother sliding parts or a different finish on the sliding parts at least some suggestions for ways to keep this from happening a dry lubricant or at least some replacements, that would be nice. UPDATE: A few minor blemishes appear if you use it a couple times a day for a couple months but the average purchaser will probably never most of them.). I'll see if parts are available and update you."
"The flashlight is a bit heavier and larger than others, but this one has the lantern function which is why I usually take this one with me when selecting from the many I have. But of course, if you want a large area illuminated, you can always use the lantern on its side, besides the ones that I have that you can zoom in/out, have plastic pieces that break easily if you drop the flashlight... so I still give this one a 5 star!."
"These lights are SO well-built.....heavy, but well distributed weight."
"Update 12/8/2017, This light does not hold up the one the company replaced in 2016 took a crap on a camping trip at the end of summer. With in 15 minutes some one called me back and even though they could not find my warranty registration they are sending me a new light. The flashlight top of light took a crap on the first night of a camping trip ( light bar lamp still working ) called and left a voicemail will update weather or not a get called back and how I made out."

The specially designed lighting system can either shine forward for walking or looking ahead, point downward for reading or looking down, or both at the same time! However, the maximum and low were both great, providing plenty of clear, white light."
"They also do not create a reflection on my glasses like headlight style lights tend to do."
"On cold evenings, we wear the cap under a hood or over a beanie to cover our ears (and of course, the cat wears his winter coat) but it would be nice if they made a cold weather version (insulated with ear and neck flaps)."
"One is a single spotlight for distance when walking at night and then there are two lights under the brim that shoot down to light up close up. You simply hold the brim of the hat and press it to cycle through the light sequences."
"I got this for my dad for his birthday for when he goes outside to check on the chickens and collect eggs."
"The lights are bright enough for me to comfortably walk into dark rooms and not worry about bumping or tripping into furniture or walls."
"Great price, solid quality, very well made."
