It's better said that you WILL need plumber's putty, and if you have a stainless steel sink, you have the option to use the thin rubber gasket (I'd use plumber's putty)."
"Update: As an aside, I also learned from my research that the best way to clean my disposal is to use citric acid. Having previously had no idea what citric acid was used for, I decided to order some from Amazon, going with the brand my sister uses: Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) and gave it a whirl after 3 months of using my disposal. I let the citric acid sit with some water in the disposal for about ten minutes, and then I let it run for a solid 2 minutes."
"The immediate issues I have with this product is the plastic connections and the sound of the motor. This is the first disposal that has had plastic connecting the disposal to the sink."
"I installed the EZMount L-8000, replacing an Insinkerator 3-mount. Just removed the old mount and replaced the whole new unit."
"All I needed to do was to install the new fitting for the sink and take apart the p-trap to make it slide over the outlet tube (I needed to trim that tube to the same length as the one from the Badger)."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I didn't have time to wait for the item to arrive from Amazon so I went to Home Depot and coughed up an extra $20 for the Badger 500 - Home Depot's branded version of this item. You'll need to do some very minimal wiring work to pull the wires from the terminals in the old disposal and attach them to the disposal. Make sure to attach the green grounding wire to avoid getting shocked when you switch on the disposal! I should mention that includes all the prep work (pulling everything out from below the sink), clean up time, and a bathroom break."
"I only need to disconnect the dishwater tube and water tube (where the garbage goes) from the old unit, and to disconnect all electric system (black wire, white wire, and the ground wire), then twist the old unit off the sink mount. You will need to save all the components of the electric system and move them to the new unit - it is fairly simple, black to black wire, white to white wire, and the ground."
"Also be aware that the cord DOES NOT come with the unit and must be purchased separately, however it is inexpensive and easy to install."
"Online videos state that it's simply a matter of using the old cord but it isn't that simple according to our plumber."
"After being scolded for attempting to chop up a nice spoon at my Mother's when I was young, we make sure to sweep the drain before turning it on.). The housing that surrounds this metal core is not of adequate thickness to withstand the vibration and stresses from the deteriorating metal structure."
"I felt that they contact contractors far away so that customers are discouraged from calling for service for fear of a service call that may be multiple times the price of the unit."
Includes 2.75" micro-perforated bowl area contoured by a 2-ply metal sheet flat rim to rest over sink's drain.

Find Best Price at Amazon"For years I was buying the plastic ones or the wire mesh ones and they would leave me feeling an array of negative emotions. A constant battle with food slipping under them and down the drain (which is a no-no with no disposal and a septic system) or getting caught and mashed into the mesh - so gross!! I was a little nervous when reading reviews that this thing was going to be tricky to remove to empty,, would I be able to?"
"This 2 piece stainless-steel kitchen strainers are truly a blessing in my home. We, a family of 5, are notorious for letting utensils or our cleaning squares scrappers go down the drain, then they get all scratched up by the garbage disposal :/. The strainers themselves are thin but strong and they stay put where you need them to be."
"I've looked all around my town, including hardware stores, for really good sink strainers, I needed them really bad!"
"Strainers work great. I've struggled finding a good strainer. I've purchased $15 pop up strainers but they restricted the water flow so much when open that water wouldn't drain through fast enough leaving residue in sink. I ranked it 4 because it's very lightweight. But the flow is great and it looks good. Fits good and serves its purpose."
"It fits our drain perfectly, removes and cleans easily."
"Have had these for some time now, they keep out the tiny particles that, over time, clog the sink side without the disposal."
"These strainers fit perfectly."
"I hate the stopper/drain thingy that comes with my sink... Feel like whenever I want to use it as a drainer, the stupid plunger thingy falls and I end up with a sink full of gross water with food floaties."

Find Best Price at Amazon"For those of you that are unsure about buying a sink with barely any reviews: I did a lot of research on a sink in this price range and narrowed down my options to this Kraus and a zero-radius Vigo VG3219C (with the strainer and bottom grid as well). Both were very close in price I couldn't pick one from only looking online and reading the handful of reviews, so I ordered both (so I could touch them sinks for reals). Both sinks arrived the same day (Vigo ordered from Home Cheapo). The box is air tight and made of that incredibly durable, thick cardboard, and everything is padded like crazy inside with styrofoam and the sink itself comes in a canvas bag. Looks: Kraus (10 out of 10): This sink has small radius corners and those grooves that go towards the drain, I know you are attracted to that style. Here's the deets: Kraus (8 out of 10): It feels very close to those expensive sinks. It appeared that someone had already opened it up (I blame this on Home Cheapo for passing it off as a new item, I doubt they sent it back to Vigo to repackage). didn't even go all the way up to the top in one corner, so there was literally a hole in the sink (speaks to their quality control). Sound-deadening material: Kraus (10 out of 10): Most, if not all, of the stainless steel sinks I have seen, have the entire underside coated with a hardened foam. This was applied thicker on the Kraus compared to most other stainless steel sinks I have seen (at all price points). We have been using the bottom grate and the sink still looks as good as the day we bought it."
"When our kitchen remodel had gone over it's $40k budget due to some unforeseen aditional issues we had to try to make our money count but without ruining the end goal so we decided to take a chance on this sink because of the good reviews, and the specs."
"The main reason I bought this particular sink was it was the only sink of this size I found that was reviewed to fit into a 30" IKEA sink cabinet."
"I wanted this sink because the grid was included, but because it scratches anyway and has to be removed to properly clean the sink anyway, so I'm not sure it was the right choice."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I've had Moen faucets in my house since I moved in 12 years ago, and they've worked great the whole time. - Installation will be easier if there are two people because there's nothing to keep the faucet from falling over before the retaining nut is tightened from the bottom. Also, because there are no features to set the clocking of the handle, and because tightening the retaining nut will cause the fixture to spin, having a second person to hold it in place would be helpful. After buying and installing this faucet, I was given the amazing privilege of being able to try out the Motionsense version in chrome, the Moen 7594EC, as part of the Vine program."
"Three months ago, I shopped around and settled on a Moen 7594SRS Arbor, which is the non-Motionsense version of this faucet in spot resistance stainless. I picked the sensorless version over the Motionsense version for three main reasons: (1) it was my first faucet installation and it looked less complicated to install, (2) it didn't have electronic sensors and a solenoid that could break down, and (3) it cost about $150 less. The video is mostly intended to show off the faucet and some of the features, as well as show the sensors working. A couple of nits with the Motionsense models: (*) The temperature control for water dispensed using the sensors is located on the control box under the sink. While it is more complicated than the install for the version without sensors, it's essentially one added step of mounting the control box and plugging in a few more hoses. It's great that the water flow controlled by the handle doesn't require the electronics in the control box. ----------------------------------------------------------. Here are two things that I didn't see/notice on the product pages and didn't realize before getting both faucets: (*) The Motionsense model has a higher flow rate spout, being 2.2 GPM versus 1.5 GPM on the regular model. (*) The handle on the regular model can be located on the right side, left side, or anywhere in between. The Motionsense model is located on the right side only. I had the Moen faucet that came with my house for over 12 years before deciding to get something new (and it still worked fine), and I expect that I'll use this faucet for a long time. I did a video review of that model, too, which shows the Arbor and Brantford side by side."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I had been searching for a dual spray aerator for my bathroom faucet, which didn't detract from the modern style of the bathroom."
"If it were more of a teardrop shape (from the top) so your fingers had something to push against it would be a little easier, but I don't change from stream to spray very often, and it's not that hard really."
"Pros: -Strong stream. -Even spray. -Easy to switch spray styles. -Swivels very easily. Cons: None that I've found yet."
"Have tried a variety where one pulls it for spray, pushes for aerated flow: This one's better."
"I am very impressed with this product."
"Still a huge improvement, and the models that can tilt more are generally much bigger and have lots plastic."
"This attachment compliments my Delta high arc faucet very nicely."
"The spray is very strong so I usually use the regular flow."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The special water supply connector to the heater is attached to the faucet/dispenser hose. My older cabinets needed new 1/2 ply on the insides for mounting. It will work with any 1/4 inch line filter system, including R/O. Mine has not a drip even with all the 1/4 inch lines for the filter system. If you are concerned about leaking, put a small pan under the heater and use a $10 water alarm."
"Replacing the old one was "plug and play" although the old water filter is a different size from the new water filter, and the way it was installed under my sink doesn't leave room for the new style of filter, so I just put that aside for now."
"When I think of all the time and energy I wasted over the years heating the water in a kettle repeatedly throughout the day, I want to cry."
"One of the few on-demand hot water systems that don't require 240-volt electrical supplies."
"Since we were replacing a Franke cold only unit this is not an improvement.... in fact we wasted a day installing a pretty faucet with a defective heater."
"When we called InSink they told us we would need to purchase this adapter."
"Product info does not mention the following: This product needs an InSinkErator proprietary part to hook up to a Hot Water Dispenser not made by InSinkErator."
"I had a couple of problems with the original unit even before it leaked so I wasn't thrilled about getting the same type of dispenser, but figured I'd just replace the tank so that I wouldn't have replace the entire thing, including the faucet."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The easy-to-control flow valve allows you to provide just the right amount of water pressure for a full range of cleaning, from "gentle trickling stream" to "full-on 'Silkwood' decontamination", ensuring the end of your bowel movement leaves you feeling cleaner and more refreshed than using just toilet paper alone."
"and my husband installed it, I stood in the hall and informed him that I would still be using toilet paper thank you very much. It also has been helpful to those of us who have hemorrhoids (THANKS CHILDBIRTH) because it is a bit gentle and less abrasive than toilet paper tends to be. We haven't bought toilet paper since we bought it (March, so, 4 months) and I haven't missed it a bit. As for the bidet itself, it is easy peasy to install (according to my husband; I wouldn't know because I was having a toilet paper protest in the hall at the time of its installation) and simple to clean for the most part...the back (where it attaches to the toilet) is a bit more difficult to clean than your average, sad, greatly lacking, bidet-less toilet, but nothing major at all. with the bidet installed, we discovered (after the recommended 'bumper kits' kept shifting and falling off, that PLASTIC DOMED DOOR STOPPERS work AMAZING for propping the seat up."
"Installation was relatively quick and easy (despite almost taking off the turn-off valve before turning off the house water supply). Ended up having to replace our solid metal water-valve connector with a $6 braided one from the local hardware store. This was purchased in an effort to reduce toilet paper usage and improve cleanliness standards. I kid you not, over a dozen independent people (friends/family) have ultimately said "I don't want a robot to spray my ass with water"."

"The tub sink is just wonderful it's better than any other San, it is very deep and that's what I love about it I can put a lot of dishes in it with pots and I have enough space to wash them out."
"Great utility sink."
"New laundry tub is great was replacing an older one with this single bowl tub came with legs and leveler feet for the bottom of the legs you supply your own faucet and p-trap as well as supply lines."
"This model is a cheaper less heft tub but since I had already taken my old tub down I had to get another one in its place."
"Great tub for outside use and washing large, awkward items."
"Very happy with this product."
"Good product for a non commercial use like mine....legs a little flimsy in my opinion but still good."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Results: faucet tap= 328ppm. aquafina bottle water= 2ppm. kirkland (Sam's Club bottle water) = 20ppm. and the apec water = 25ppm."
"I was impressed upon opening it as the main filter housing unit seemed very high quality and heavy. You can push the lever down and hold it if you just need to fill a glass or you can flip it up until it locks and and it will continually dispense until you turn it off. Some of these faucets require a 1 1/2" hole, and that would concern me because I have a synthetic granite/composite sink that it tough as nails to drill into. TIP: Once you locate where you want the faucet mounted, get a thin piece of wood (such as a shim) and drill a 1/2" hole in it. In my case, it took me a good ten minutes to drill through my sink (probably a 1/4" thickness) and the bit was completely useless once I got through the surface. Once the hole is drilled to your liking, follow the illustration for assembling the hardware for the faucet and mount it. I have a 2200 square foot ranch that was built in the eighties with that nasty, defective polybutelene plumbing and, after a ruined master bath and another close call in the kitchen after owning the house for just 6 months, I had my plumber completely re-pipe to the tune of 5K. If you decide to do this, the only one you won't be able to use one on is the yellow line that goes from the RO unit to the tank (because it has a crimped-on special two-way valve). One word of caution though- if you do this be very careful and mindful that you are screwing a metal compression connector onto plastic threads on the unit. My advice, in hindsight, is to determine where you're going to want the unit and place it there prior to beginning the install. It took me longer than it probably would have taken most people, but I have a unique kitchen sink with funky plumbing (couldn't use 1/2" adapter included to feed system from faucet bottom, instead had to convert down to 3/8" and run from cold water valve)."
"We already had a separate "beverage faucet" (with simple inline carbon filter) mounted on our sink so it was pretty much plug and play. I'm using a Watts Premier 560087 as the 5th stage filter (last is the carbon filter) in our APEC ROES-50. Never had acid reflux before with our inline filtered water used to brew coffee. P.S - I know APEC makes a remineralizing/pH filter, but the Watts filter contains additional minerals such as magnesium and potassium, whereas the APEC filter is just calcium. It installs in between the tank and the tee, vs the 1-way "final filter" of the APEC (probably why it doesn't raise the pH that much - water passes through it too quickly). The tee just replaces the 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 existing tee on the RO system For the 3/8" final filter, I really like the Hydronix filters, I used B00D04BYIK (again, search on Amazon), but any 3/8 inline carbon filter will do."
