"Don't expect tight manufacturing tolerances (even at a glance, the bits in the case are all different lengths for instance), but these bits are so inexpensive as to be essentially disposable."
"These should be in the bit box of everyone who has a small CNC."
"These bits work well and stay sharp."
"The bits came in a little plastic case, each contained in individual sections, with a foam insert ensuring none are DOA."
"used one bit one time, it performed flawlessly, very good price for performance, I used this on a 12 chained 3D logos and used it with a 1/4" to 1/8" reduction bushing.very happy with its performance on its first pass."
"They leave frayed splintering on one side of the board, so keep a rasp and sandpaper handy."
"I wish I could find a cheap downcut spiral so I didn't get frayed edges but I have been on the same bit now for about 8 hours of carving and it is still working fine."

There are lots of bits that can be purchased that will enable you to do more, but the one it comes with is a good size for a beginner."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I Love my Freud bits! I actually have a full set of these flush trim bits ranging from 3/4" to 1" to 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" and a full, massive 2"."
"Sapele is a fairly hard wood with variable grain which was compounded by my unusual sweeping curves. Upon receipt, noticed substantial plastic container used by Freud, out of box sharpness and general appearance of high quality fit and finish. Routing freehand against the bearing I experienced a startling kick back upon entry that could have been dangerous."
"A quality bit at a good price."
"I'm going for a shorter (1/2" long cutting length) standard top bearing bit (Freud 50-103 5/8-Inch Diameter Top Bearing Flush Trim Router Bit with 1/4-Inch Shank) instead."
"I was worried about controlling such a large bit but the cutting was silky smooth; just be sure you know the proper router feed direction."
"Bit works well when a top bearing flush trim bit is needed."
"We needed a bit that would stay sharp, be dependable and work with templating work."
"The bit was bent."

"I was confused because aligning a straight edge against the cutting edges under a certain angle gives the impression that the teeth edges are not parallel and might slant inward, which might be desirable for flooring parquet where you need a really tight fit, but in fact, careful alignment of the straight edge clears that false impression: the teeth are perfectly aligned vertically, although they do have each a slight slant forward and backward (what Freud describes as "Freud's exclusive design features a tongue cutter with opposing shear angles to ensure a flawless finish") and my next experiment is to use them for edge-joionting."
"In addition, when you want to do the copes, all you have to do is raise the bit in your router table or shaper table to put the cope profile at the right height. The picture that is shown for this bit is actually upside down as it would be deployed in a router or shaper table, the profile at the top of the picture is the stile moulding profile, and the profile shown at the bottom of the bit does the copes in the rails."
"If I didn't want the thin edge to be there I had to raise up the bit, and then my detail was too deep for my liking, so this one is better for me. When you have to drill a hinge cup hole into the back of a door, you don't want it to pierce through the front side of this detail after you are all done with the door. Having the option of keeping the bit a little lower creates more of a safety buffer, and is more attractive to my clients when you view the door from the front."
"I took a couple of spacers from the groove bit and placed on the tongue bit. I then lowered the tongue bit, and used the top one for the groove."
"It's my new favorite router bit."
