Find Best Price at Amazon"If you don't have this, you will need to build out your door frame to accommodate this door prior to installation. The issue is that the door's deadbolt and doorknob's latch only extend about 3/8" when fully engaged so the door needs to run very close to the frame in order to click shut and lock. At this size (35 and 13/15), the door handle almost touches the inside door frame when it opens so I'd say that's about the perfect opening size for the door frame if you buy this in size 36 as it can't get any closer. Since this is a storm door, they design it so the door comes very close to the frame to avoid gaps / air coming in. You need to install the door closers as close to the storm door as possible in order to get the door to open to about 110 degrees, the maximum amount the hinges will allow. The door closers protect it from overextending past 110 degrees, but if you install the door closers too far from the door they will prevent you from opening the door fully."
