"I bought a pack of multiple colors and am having so much fun experimenting with the endless number of patterns. I tried gel pens on navy blue paper and the ink smeared due to the rotating spirograph wheels."
"It went from dozens of companies making gel pens and black paper to only a handful. This generation of gel pens has made a great comeback and we see a lot of companies getting back in to the business of making gel pens and black paper. For gel pens on black paper the best are the Sakura 38176 10-Piece Gelly Roll Assorted Colors Blister Card Moonlight Gel Ink Pen Set and the ink glows in the dark but if you really want to add to your Spirograph fun I recommend also getting what I call "The Castle", the TEKwriterUSA Gelwriter Gel Pen Set with Pop-up Case, 100-Count (27104-D), it has every kind of gel pen you could imagine and great for every shade of paper from black to white but the ink does not glow in the dark like the Sakura pens. For black paper I recommend getting both the Wausau Astrobrights Heavy Duty Paper, 24 lb, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Eclipse Black, 500 Sheets (22321) and the Black Page Journal, Black Cover, 36 Qty/case, you get three sizes, 12 each, I'm guessing around 5, 6 and 8 inch size with about 50 pages each, a fantastic value at less than a dollar a notebook."
"I cut the strip into 6 equal pieces (we needed a couple to first adhere one of the 20 included 8 1/2" x 11" pieces of white paper to the plastic, built-in work surface... the paper fits relatively securely horizontally, but the work surface is 9 1/2" vertically rather than 8 1/2", so the paper would move up and down if it wasn't secured with a piece of putty at the top 2 corners.). I attached the other 4 strips underneath one of the rings and secured it to the paper, then placed one of the wheels on the inside of the ring to begin going around... but the wheel slid right underneath the ring, since the putty raised the ring up too high. Since there were no instructions, I had to go back and read through some of the Amazon reviews - which I hadn't taken time to read when ordering - finally finding one that talked about using only very small pieces of putty so as not to elevate the ring too high for the wheel. Once I'd spent 10-15 minutes reading reviews and got the ring secured, I tried to explain how he needed to keep pressure against the inside of the ring as he went around with the wheel, but whether it was because I wasn't explaining myself well enough or he just didn't understand what he needed to do, he started getting frustrated and said, "Can we please just do something else, Grandma?" Not having instructions isn't a good thing, and in reading through reviews, it sounds like many people have received packages with missing items (we had everything intact except instructions.)."
"Bought this for my daughter who loves to create things."
"My youngest loves being creative so with the addition of gel pens this allows her to expand her creative side!"
"Also, you have to use sticky tack to hold the outside stencil down and I wish it came with a piece that actually holds it in place like the ones when I was a kid."

"My daughter opened it up on Christmas morning and stared in awe, telling us about the things she plans on coloring and drawing."
"My seven year old LOVES this set.., she loves the variety and she's in love with the colourful exterior of the case.....and I love that there is a space for everything, so this keeps all the pieces orgamized and when she's finished colouring, we close the case and the mess goes away."

"Perfect Christmas gift for my daughter she loves all the different varieties on colors, markers etc."

While parents and teachers never want to discourage big and bold art, colored pencils are an ideal tool for children to use to satisfy their urge to draw smaller, intricate shapes. They can carefully fill in the blotchy markings of a calico kitten or precisely form each blade of grass--maybe trying a combination of yellow-green, pine, and jade. Find Best Price at Amazon"Crayola Colored Pencils are excellent. Coloring is a breeze - I can layer colors, outline, shade, make the colors as bright or as muted as want."
"But price alone is not the determinant factor here: if a colored pencil is cheap but performs poorly, then there is no point in picking it up. But what I quickly discovered with these Crayola pencils is that not only are they inexpensive (they break down to only about 20 cents per pencil, compared to anywhere from $1 to $4 per pencil for the more expensive brands), but they perform exceptionally well, to boot. The pencils have a generally good laydown of color, with the caveat of the few colors that don't work well (true also of my most expensive colored pencils, I must say). Are these pencils as good as the best Swiss, French, and German colored pencils?"
"I thought 50 colors are plenty, but once you start using them, you do feel like you could use 100 colors..."
"I love these pencils, they are strong, they last even with an electric sharpener , makes coloring enjoyable and the added perk is the color name on each pencil makes it easier to find them when in a pile."
"Almost half of my arrived outside of the box with the "leads" broken completely off."
"These are the colored pencils I take on trips with me and am willing to share with kids (I'm pretty stingy with my Prismacolor and Derwent sets)."
"We purchased one set for my 6 year old 1st grade home-schooler and my younger two liked them so much they quit using their crayons so I just purchased a second set."
"I love this set of pencils!"

Find Best Price at Amazon"These beads grow to the size of a small grape and come in a variety of colors. All in all though, my kids love playing with these and I will be back to purchase more when these are no longer growing when hydrated. These make about 15-20 gallons of beads and the shrink back to original size after awhile and can then be rehydrate by adding more water ."
"I rinse them off in a colander after playtime (so they don't get smelly or slimy from hand germs, as some reviews mentioned), and leave them in an uncovered plastic container on the counter. They do get a bit crumbly if you let them sit in water too long, but we've still got quite a few left (just from that original tablespoon) in spite of that... even after loads of playtime. My 2 1/2 year old plays "bubble bath" or "swimming pool" by putting her little plastic friends in a tupperware container with the beads."
"The beads come packed inside a secure, resealable plastic bag, with the majority of them appearing yellow. Within a mere 5 minutes, the solid beads began to soften and grow slightly. I placed the clear glass vase on my bathroom counter, but I kept staring into it frequently, noticing the different stages of the beads' growth. By the time 5 hours passed, these water beads looked incredible. I couldn't help sticking my hand in and playing around with the slick, cold and soft jelly-like beads. Several hours in, the water level was at about half of the height of all the beads in the vase. The full submerging and growth of these water beads takes about 7-10 hours. Try to avoid keeping the beads in water for too long; after 10 hours, they can get softer and break apart more easily. They were chosen to highlight softer hues, than red, white, black and other darker, more opaque colors. But these shining beads truly belong together, so congrats to the person who made up this specific color grouping... The beads appear like soft, glowing orbs, because of their translucency in the light. When I reach my hand into the vase, some of the beads come flying out and bounce off the walls and other solid objects in their way. During their wild travels, the moist beads can attract loose hair, dust and dirt, so just rinse them off for a few seconds, before putting them back with the rest. Currently, I've just kept the water beads inside the glass vase to admire and periodically play with. The water beads are excellent sensory and play tools for kids, autistic/ill/blind/disabled children, adults, and anyone else. They are definitely distracting and amazing to touch. They feel really nice, soothing and relaxing when you handle them and and scoop them into your hands. Especially for big events, like parties and weddings, room decoration, and even a backround for pictures! Use colorful water beads to keep flowers and plants hydrated, without much maintenance. Use these for decoration for various things, such as inside a clear flower vase, to keep even a single rose happy and surrounded by beauty. For bulk items, floating flower and cactus candles, fabrics, party favors, ribbons, and affordable chandeliers to stand up or to hang. Put Waterproof: Flameless, and color-changing candles or mini flashing lights on the bottom of a bowl to create a really cool ambience for a party. Use the beads as decoration in a clear container, under a food dish, or another type of artistic presentation. Put the beads inside small plastic balls with a hole for string, to create ornaments for a tree or for any room. Keep pens, flowers, and other objects standing up, by sticking them in between the beads in a jar. I also plan to order my mom some flowers for her Birthday, and fill a new glass vase with these water beads."
"It seemed some get too big and 'bust' but that's fine stuff fun to play with."

The pen, thus far has worked flawlessly, but again, I only received it last night. I'm on my 4th day and I've been using this pen for hours and really enjoying!! Upon watching YouTube videos I figured out how to unjam the pen. Best Kids' Stickers
The reusable stickers in this set affix securely to the sturdy pages, then peel up easily when you're ready to make a change.
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"The positives: I bought it for my 18 month old and it was perfect for that age: kept her busy for a nice length of time, she couldn't tear the vinyl stickers, and obviously they can be stuck/unstuck infinite number of times. The pages came unglued from the binding of the sticker pad within a month or so, and we were left with random, torn, bent pages scattered around and no way to protect them for long term use."
"As far as comparing it to other reusable sticker sets the quality is in the stickers themselves, they are more like the quality of window clings so more like a thick plastic Saran Wrap type, but really great and not bulky easy for smaller hands to manipulate, I think a child about 28mo and older should be good at this."
"These are the only stickers we'll probably ever buy."
"We have so much fun together talking about the jungle animals, airplanes, dump trucks, etc."
"Otherwise it is similar to a felt board and I think when granddaughter is a little older she will enjoy making up stories with this sticker pad."
"These are great, seriously!"
"I only wish that there was a way to save the stickers or store them together or maybe if the back side was also sticky to be able to stick the extra stickers. You cannot fit all the stickers for one scene on a page if you want it to actually look like a scene, so I had extra stickers floating around."

Find Best Price at Amazon"i ordered this for a children's party that I offered to try to face paint for (as the local painter asked for $150 an hour - what?!?)."
"I also bought some paint brushes at Hobby Lobby so I could do some detail work. I also used cosmetic sponges and those worked nicely, though they did sap up some paint."
"I got a lot of faces out of this kit!"
"The kit also includes brushes, glitter, a small water holder, and a sample face design book. There are a few potential weaknesses: What the kit lacks, which you should bring -- a mirror, so the kids can see themselves, and a couple of containers for water since the water holder that comes with the kit is very small and gets dirty so fast that it is completely useless after completing a couple of faces. I painted about 20 children's faces (full face designs) over a 3 hour period and ran out of white, and almost ran out of pink and light blue as well."
"There is a book with step by step instructions included in the kit and so I had the children choose from the book as I'm definitely not artistically inclined."
"(well other than the fact they didn't want the paint washed off) Also- coconut oil takes the paint off easily as well :). I will say- do not bother with the foam sponges that come with the set, instead get the makeup sponges."
"I've been using for over 19 years ,the paint is non toxic ,kid safe and glides on beautifully ; no chipping or peeling ."
"We have literally used these for SO many things, from halloween party makeup to work face painting functions, to stage costume makeup for a play, to just plain goofing around with the kids."

"In fact there's been a few times I messed up the siding and shingles and needed a small knife to pry them back off! The miniature house (which is a tall 2 story with full roof) has a bit of heft to it and the craft sticks have no problem bearing some weight with proper supports. Other materials adhere well to them as well including wood, plastic, and Lexan (which I'm using for windows)."
"I was a teacher and always had a supply of these for craft projects."
"Perfect craft sticks for all of your wooden craft stick projects!"
"I bought these for a classroom project and realized that 1000 sticks is way more than I could possibly need, but it has been nice to have a bunch of extra ones."
"Though the sticks themselves are not as firm as real popsicle sticks."
"My son (8) made his Hunter Dan action figure an outhouse complete with door and "seat" because his rustic cabin didn't have a bathroom."
"These are good quality, and already licked clean (ha ha ha - just joking)."
