"I bought this after reading the good reviews and had high hopes of entertaining my twin 6 year olds with this over the summer. First, this is a pretty well built inflatable: the large wedge at the high end of the slide is on par with bounce house thickness and strength. There's quite a few pieces on it that require individual inflation: On the underside there's the large wedge and then a "landing pad" under the middle. This slide was a lot of fun for them, but judging from their size I would think that once they hit 7 they'll have to think of more creative ways to play with this since the ride down will be a bit short. I think just turning 5 would have been an optimum age for them to get this for the most use (gauging physical ability, likelihood of falling off the top, etc). Inflated, the landing pad plumped up the slide, so the kids went faster and hit the bottom edge of the pool harder. I don't know if I missed the point with how they expected kids to get up there, but without the stepstool they roll around more to get into position (and get closer to falling off) while climbing and ask for help."
"I'm sure you'll see this comment in many other reviews as I did, so I knew what I was getting into and thought "what the heck" for the price point and one summer. A small raft chamber underneath the base of the slide, and at the back for kids to stand on when they are climbing up. I purchased an Intex pool repair kit for $7 with adhesive glue and vinyl, and it masks the problem, but does not fix it. Not counting the leaks (which require me to leave out our pump and periodically pull the kids off to add air), the whole thing took me about 45-60 minutes to set up the first time. If your product stays well inflated, you can easily empty the water, let it dry and then deflate and fold. But if you end up with a situation similar to mine, you pretty much have to dry it with a towel because the partially deflated areas fold over on themselves and trap water."
"My three year old needs a stool though not ideal because there is a slant on the mounting part of the slide so she still has to leap from the stool."

This Inflatable Water Slide by Intex will allow you to make a splash all summer long. Enter your model number to make sure this fits.

Then there was a slight tear by the air valve in the white vinyl. Today, day two, I noticed the mat part that is in the water kept losing air. Now we did let one kid wear his mask but I don't think that caused it but again I patched and hope it holds. Contacted company I bought it through and they said cut out piece with writing on and send in."
"We did have difficulty getting the slide out of the pool because of the water that was in the slide but after a few hours of pulling and lifting we had to open up the material in order to get it out and repack the item. The slide was replaced with another that separated at the seam at the bottom of the slide so the 2nd was returned as well."
"Just calculate what you think the break even is, if you'd go to a place with slides and whatever times you go over that is pure profit ;)."
"I called a friend who had purchased one about 3 weeks earlier (Same product) to see if we could borrow theirs for the day. I ran to the pool store before the party and bought a floating pirate fort, that the kids have used 4 or 5 days so far."

So unroll, inflate, add water and have fun! Individual user maximum weight limit: 120lbs, combined maximum 150lbs.

Bonus for parents - the climb tires kiddos out so bed time is no struggle. There's also plenty of space for parents to relax in the pool area to escape the heat. There's noise but it's not terrible - about as noisy as my neighbor's air conditioning unit."
"We've had it for 6 years now and we've gotten an abundance of summer fun out of it."
"This is a HUGE hit with my son and his friends."
"I picked this up on clearance from a big box store and am so glad we did."
