I also had to muffle it a bit with a small blanket because he is bigger with stronger arms and with the mallet it could get quite loud."
"Pretty Nice!"

"Also sounds great as a hand drum."

"He played it for hours Christmas day and at one point he was put down for a nap, but the drum speaks and lights up; as he started to fall asleep, it lit up and said 1,2,3."

"This was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old daughter from Santa."
"The kit is not something Buddy Rich would get excited about (of course, in his current state, there's not a lot that's wowing him), but it's sturdy, attractive, appropriately sized, and a great start for a young drummer."
"Awesome set..real pro type set..worth the $$!"
"Already have to tighten it often, foot pedal squeaks (will fix with WD40), the symbol is thick so it doesn’t really make that symbol sound...this is worth $50 no more."
"The instruction on putting the set together are not the best in the world but you eventually figure it out by looking at the picture."
"Very nice junior drum set."
"It is a sturdy drum set for beginners."

Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"I bought it for my father who is interested in learning how to play a Bodhran."
"This is the only bodhran that I have ever played or owned so I don't have anything to compare but it is a beautifully crafted instrument."
"It's beautiful and loud and can make so many different sounds, and you can carry it around and even dance with it, and now I can pronounce "bough-ron!""
"It came quick."
"Great sound."
"After researching a bit on bodhrans, I decided I needed one that was tunable, so I went with the Roosebeck 14" (since I didn't want another big frame drum--I have the Remo 22" buffalo drum) hoping that I could get away with as small a drum as possible."
"Which made it much more playable, took the tipper scratch almost completely out, and improved the looks quite a lot too. I got it from Roosebeck because I refuse to humor anyone calling themselves "Trinity College" unless they are actually in Dublin. So it is five stars because despite the sad skin and the work I needed to put in to make it playable, that is what you should expect at that price point. At 3.5" it is a wee shallow for excellent tone but with the allen-key tuners I can quickly dial it up to a nice boom that isn't so low it makes the head all flabby and I'm glad I stuck with 18" instead of being tempted by the lower prices on a 16" or (shudder) 14"."

"I have a 20" average size ride and the cowbell was even with the edge of the ride when mounted underneath which didn't allow me to hit the cowbell without hitting the ride."
"Great sound from the bell and it has a nice sustain!"
"This Cowbell is in excellent condition.. only it is too big for my brother's drum set."
"Does what it supposed to do...you will definately have to put something inside to muffle it down as it will ring until the cows come home...That aside, does a decent job and comes with th mounting system...I would buy it again"...good bang for the buck'."
"I really bought this to take to hockey games (Go Rampage!!"
"good sound, nice and loud, and after playing with it daily for a month, even though I'm not always hitting it, I haven't seen a single mark left on this thing yet."

"We gave our grandson this 1/2 size guitar and the quality is excellent."
"For a young kid just getting started, this is a very nice looking, lightweight, small easy guitar to get started on but does not seem like a cheap toy guitar either."
"This is not a cheap guitar like the ones I purchased in Mexico. My son plays guitar with me and it makes my heart sing more than the guitar."
"This guitar is a realistic looking toy. I do think the guitar needs to have the strings rewound on the tuners since they stretch so much that the strings will end up with multiple wrappings around the tuners. It looks like a real guitar."
"For that price, love the sound."
"The little guitar sounds ok, but will not stay in tune and I can't locate the source of the slippage."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I've been a lifelong keyboard player, since my Roland D-50 and Alesis HR16/MMT8 in the 80s (all of which still work fine). Just got it today and thought I'd write this to help anyone on the fence (and as a thanks to Alesis, I've enjoyed the HR16/MMT8 drum mach/sequencer for decades). The 2 main criteria I wanted are: a) piano sound: how realistic, the timbre and depth? I'm impressed, very pro build quality, solid and fun to play. Walter, your product review video sold me; thanks Alesis team for an affordable high-quality dp."
"Alesis makes a lot of high quality music gear (I have one of their MIDI controllers), and a full size piano with weighted keys for around two hundred bucks sounded good to me. I would not recommend this as a learning instrument for that reason, but it makes a good starter for someone who isn’t sure about sticking to playing the piano for the long run. (I doubt any performing musician would ever use this as a “gig” piano, although, it fits nicely on a typical "X" stand - see photo.). I did not notice any sounds fade as long as you hold down the sustain pedal, which is not the case with a real piano. I didn’t try out the MIDI connectivity, which is through USB, but assuming that works as it should, this could make a pretty decent sound controller."
