Take them and SQUEEZE THEM TOGETHER as hard as you can until you hear two loud pops, one on each end. To set up like an actual drummer, you need to connect your crash and your hat on the LEFT side of the kit."

"Hit the cymbal too hard, it doesn't register and you miss the note. Now it's kinda hard to not hit the cymbal hard on accident when playing blue notes in rapid succession or rather a faster song and when the blue scrolls down, you hit it harder than usual. Well time has passed and now I can't even play songs with this crappy cymbal anymore because the hit detection is all but gone besides a SLIVER just as big as the drum stick on the very center of the cymbal. I've always heard the rumors of how bad the hit detection on these things are, but I never thought it was as bad as it actually is."

Presumably you will be able to distort held notes, similar to a whammy bar on the guitar. - The packaging notes that the keyboard will also be able to play guitar and bass parts as well; why you might feel compelled to do that is unfathomable, but it's available...obviously, it won't support Pro modes for stringed instruments. - MIDI is supported ... again, I'm not sure why you might want a 25-key keyboard as a MIDI device when a full keyboard would do the job better, but there you have it."
"As a lifelong piano and keyboards player myself, I was keen to explore the Pro Keys mode in Rock Band 3 immediately. I did notice myself accidentally activating the notes when simply resting my hand on the keys, but it's a very minor point against what is an otherwise brilliant device that adds a huge new dimension to the Rock Band dynamic. Recently I had my son on the drums, a couple of mates on guitars, wife and daughter on vocals and me on keys and it was a huge amount of fun."
"I am totally bummed about RB3 no longer providing new songs and even more upset that the new PS4 will not support the playing of Rock Band, but that has nothing to do with the quality of this product. I have found that I can even use the keyboard to play the guitar and bass parts of a song if I so desire, although not from within the "Career" section of the game."

Here's a list of parts that I switched out the stock ones for: Sanwa Joystick (comes w/ octagonal gate) & Buttons (30mm). 4lbs Tension Spring. Oversized Actuator (1mm). Circular Gate. 5-PIn Female Harness For Zero Delay USB Encoder PCB. Ball-top. My only gripes with the F300 is that I have larger than normal hands and my joystick hand at times rest over the side of the top and slips at times during certain engagements. My overall impression of the F300 is limited to a month of hands on experience backed by thousands of hours using quality parts in cabinets."
"I've never used a fightstick before so i'm not sure what high end fightsticks feel like with Sanwa or Seimitsu parts. The size is perfect for me because I am short and I have small hands(its about the same size as a Madcatz Street Fighter 4 SE Fightstick). Pros: Easily modifiable, good size for people with small hands, nice weight, responsive buttons and stick, usable on basically every platform. Cons: You need a 1st party controller plugged in at all times when using on consoles(for Xbox 360, you need a WIRED 360 controller), the buttons and stick might feel very lacking to someone who has used a high end fightstick, might be too small for people with big hands."
