"I ended up tweaking the deadzones in forza a bit more to my liking, but that was just software settings, and small ones at that. Once it was installed, I plugged in the USB cable, the wheel spun around a bit and it was ready to go. I launched Assetto Cora and to my surprise, found a premade config for the Logitech g920 with and without the shifter. After that, I launched a race (in manual shifting mode) and ran a few laps around Mugello just to see how it was. The wheel is the same size, though it now has a flat bottom The leather feels great, just like it did on the g27. A noticeable difference from the g27 is that the wheel no longer has the LED shift indicator lights. One minor thing I don't like about the wheel is the LED light just above the xbox button. So stiff that I had to put the back of my chair up against my couch to keep from pushing myself backwards just to get the car to slow down at all. This is all because of a small piece of rubber that is inserted into the break pedal spring to give it "progressive" pressure. This could have been a 5 star rating if I didn't have to mod it to get the brake pedal to work normally and if it had the shifter included."
"To get to these settings on FM6 you need to go to: Options: Controls: Advanced wheel controls (by pressing X button in controls menu). Steering: inside deadzone =1. outside deadzone = 100. Acceleration : Inside deadzone = 0. Outside deadzone = 100. Deceleration. Inside deadzone = 0. Outside deadzone = 70. Clutch. Inside deadzone = 10. Outside deadzone = 50. Hand Brake. inside deadzone = 0. outside deadzone = 50. Vibration scale = 50. Force Feedback scale = 100. Degrees of rotation = 420 (again personal preference). In game I run Normal Steering. I suspect this is due to running a vibration setting when drifting and the wheel was constantly vibrating."
"On the Logitech it is permanently installed and requires invasive action to remove which also voids the warranty. The Thrustmaster one is over twice the price, but it feels better, is made mostly of metal and is harder to accidentally put in to the wrong gear. This sounds like a lot, but when running F1 cars where braking needs to be incredibly precise the Thrustmaster 12 bit pedals with 4,096 unique positions are noticeably better. The cheapness of the plastic wheel is all but forgotten from the excellent precision feel you get from the force feedback. Both wheel's pedal boxes and optional shifters do have bolt holes for hard mounting."

"Pressing the PS button to wake up the remote isnt really an issue because even if the bluetooth part of the remote fell alseep pressing the big PS button in the middle instantly wakes up the remote AND instantly brings up the PS home screen just as if you would've pressed the PS button on the Dualshock. For the Hulu app It says in the manual if some of the buttons do not work for some apps they might still work on other buttons on the remote and to expiriment. For the most part the X,O,triangle, square buttons all work like they would on a dualshock in most apps but on the Hulu app the function of O is relegated to the STOP button, right next to pause and play which work as intended as well. Honestly I don't even use the X, O, square or triangle buttons though because it isnt needed with the regular enter and back buttons doing the same exact thing. This was important for setting it up as my main cable remote with all of its complex functions, I taught it the On Demand and DVR functions as well as the crucial Page Up/Page Down while using the guide which surprisingly didnt automatically work on the assigned buttons on the remote with my specific cable box. Everything else had a button and worked without needing to teach, even smaller nuanced things like widgets. (NOTE: It took me a few times to successfully teach even though it flashed 3 times saying it worked but then nothing worked at all not even the normal functions, dont get scared what you have to do is re enter the code that you were using that worked for the device you were just controlling and all of your saved "teaches" will still be customized the way you left it, it just didnt register while teaching and bugged out a few times so just re enter the code in the manual again to go back to normal). My single biggest gripe is not every key is teachable, as the dedicated page up/page down buttons didnt work with the cable box. And there are about 7 or 8 programmable keys in all including ALL of the colored keys (that includes the 3 colored buttons at the very top of the remote NOT just the 4 middle colored soft keys that some people are saying)."
"I feel like this product is perfect for my setup for a few reasons. -i own a ps4. -i lost my tv remote and a/v receiver remote, so i've had to get up from my chair (like some kind of barbarian) to adjust the volume for years. -i am tired of using the battery life on my dualshock 4 controllers only to use it on watching videos and movies, and the dualshock 4 accidentally ff/rw too easily for me. I LIKED these features of this remote: -It works quite well as a universal remote. -THE EJECT BUTTON this is helpful for me. -separate play/pause buttons and ff/rw and chapter stop buttons. -the remote itself feels good to use, its very comfortable and the buttons feel very nice and deliberate, not too squishy or too clicky, you wont accidentally press buttons on this. -there is no way to turn all of the devices on/off with one button, but there is a separate tv on/off button, and a multifunction power button. -automatic setup with my TV and a/v receiver didn't work, so i had to manually input it."
"This creates huge issues when the thing doesn't have a full control code available to your device. It is a huge mistake on the design of a Universal remote. What I mean by that is that if you program a TV and then a audio receiver afterwards there will be annoyances. Also, if you bind the receiver volume to all other devices you get to, once again, do the TV."

"Pretty cool and unique ps4 controller."
"The battery lasts a lot longer, the thumbsticks are more rugged and have a better grip on them, L2 and R2 buttons are more springy (a good thing), and the thumbsticks also feel way smoother when moving them around."
"Amazing controller, great feel, comfortable to hold and extremely responsive."
"I did everything I could to get as much battery life without taking it apart. The PS button does not work on the PS3 which kinda stinks but I have a Sony TV and 7.1 Receiver so I just press the Home button on either remote to open up the XMB or to power down the PS3."
"This remote controller works much better than any previous controller I bought at any retail store within the last few years."
"I don't believe in reviewing a product until it's had AT LEAST a month of regular use, but I was disappointed enough upon opening the package that I felt the need to review and warn people immediately."
"Not only did they significantly reduce the battery life of the controller itself (I get like 4-6 hours at the MOST even with the lights turned all the way to the dimmest setting), but they seem to be MORE cheaply made than the PS3 versions. And the battery lasted FOREVER compared to today's PS4 controllers. I don't throw tantrums like little kids do and toss them across the room or bite them or try to crush them or abuse them in some torrential nerd rage. Sony's peripheral scheme is a money grab and makes wanting to play a chore when you don't know if your controller is going to be charged enough or you forgot to put in on the charger the night before or OMG it fell off the couch onto my CASHMERE RUG and now the RIGHT ANALOG STICK IS FAIL. It all ended up being more of a gimmick to take a jab at Nintendo and the Wii rather than a genuine innovation that players would utilize day-in and day-out."
