Guitar Hero 2 Guitar Controller

Reviews
"Very happy with item, son was very pleased on Christmas day, thank you."
"I had this controller for 5 years and finally the strum bar stopped strumming down strokes. It was a weird problem but that controller had been well used for 5 years with little down time so I'm not surprised that one day it would break. The GH 3 controller is too bulky, the GH4 and 5 controllers aren't ergonomically made well, the gH 6 controller is weird."
"The controller was in fantastic condition, everything worked perfectly (more on that later) and it was overall a great value for the time these things go for these days."
"Guitar works perfectly but the only issue i had with mine was that it was covered in stickers that took about an hour and a half of trying to take off all of it but this might of just been a one off situation, overall its great and works amazing."
"Years after years of extensive play and it worked till the end."
"I bought it to play Rock Band 2 because I like the Guitar Hero controllers over RB's, and this controller works with either game series. You don't have to worry about charging or replacing batteries, and unless you have a HUGE television, the cord length should not pose as a problem as to how far back you want to play."
"The guitar works fine, but only when the wire is held in a certain position."
"It came literally wrapped in shrink wrap and thrown in a box loose and rattling all around the box."

"Great guitar for rocking out."
"Still working."
"Added it as an additional guitar for Rockband 2."
"Arrived dysfunctional - distal guitar didn't work, son made it work by using the more proximal neck play site."
"You know I reviewed the comments, and people consistently said that the controller had issues with the tilt mech."

Best Xbox 360 Game Drums

Ion IED07 Premium Rock Band Drum Kit for Xbox 360

Drum Rocker's velocity-sensitive drum pads feature a playing surface that is much quieter than other drum controllers. The Ion Drum Rocker Premium Drum set can be customized to fit your drumming style. Professional-Grade Aluminum Rack and Pads While other drum controllers force you to use their configuration with a pre-molded, plastic array, the Drum Rocker's professional-grade aluminum rack lets you position your snare, tom and cymbal pads the way you want. Drum Rocker's velocity-sensitive drum pads feature an ultra-quiet playing surface and a more natural and consistent stick rebound than your average pad. Go Beyond Gaming into Real Music Built by the engineers at Alesis, one of the largest manufacturers of professional electronic drums in the world, the Drum Rocker Premium Drum Set delivers the most realistic drumming experience available to a gamer. Reviews
"I figured when I tired of the game I could use these with a drum controller to add some percussion to my work. Using the provided drum trigger and pedal....The cymbals require a very hard hit. The drum heads had a "sweet spot" and if you hit them wrong you got a flubbed response on the game. In the "freeplay" section of the game I found that rapid hits didn't register in real time."
"Pros: Build Quality. Drum Accuracy (No missed hits). Feel (These drums feel great to play). Rebound (You get a lot of rebound off of the drum head). Sensitivity (Even very light hits register). Easy Setup (about 45min but that's because there is so much customization possible). Compact (they actually fold up to about the same size as the RB2 drums). Metal Drum Pedal (It's not going to break like my RB2 pedal did). Cons: I really only have one con and its very small and trivial. I would like to see a bottom brace on the bottom of the rack that you could hook the drum pedal to so it wouldn't slide around as much and so it would brace the drums better."
"One thing to note: There is an adjustment at the top of the cymbal stand to keep them from rotating. Another thing to watch for... the cymbal holders are held in place with a metal loop with threads on the end. The wingnuts they supply are very large and the threads are not that long so I found myself stripping the very end of the threads trying to get the wingnut on. The kick pedal is really made to simulate a hi hat pedal so I was a little off-put at first but it still works quite well and is lightyears beyond the original stock RB1 pedal. The pads never miss hits but unfortunately the cymbals still drop notes quite frequently. Some people suggest hitting the edges of them with the stick, some say tighten them down very tight and some say remove the felt padding beneath them. Edit: 9/23/08 - Well the Nylon wingnuts held for one or two moves but I ended up replacing the nut within the plastic wingnut."

"I can report that so far, both mics that I bought work successfully with XBOX 360 Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3, but it was a bit of a disappointment that I did not recieve the mic pictured."
"Pleasantly surprised to have received the Konami brand mic, as I didn't really care which brand of mic it was, all I wanted was a mic to play Rock Band3 on PS3."
"If you want a cheap USB mic to plug into your computer, this is literally the cheapest thing you can find."
"This is an awesome microphone."
"This worked out well with the Xbox 360 games that required a microphone."
"You know how this works, ask grandchildren what they want and you get the list, then a week before Christmas, there is the statement "Hey Mom you know what I really would like......" Now the way this goes is Mom calls grand mom and relays the message."
"I was hoping that the game would "grade" your singing like in rock band but the effect still allows a third prayer to get involved."
"I ordered this excited to have a Logitech mic again."

Reviews
"Its a solid little keyboard with better build quality than allot of midi controllers and analog modeling synths. Ive hooked up every guitar hero and rock band toy up to synths before and they all worked soso."
"Got this for my twelve-year-old son and he loves it."
"I have played rhythm games with guitar shaped controllers for ages... Way back when Guitar Hero 1 came out the concept of playing a game with a 5-buttoned plastic guitar and living out your rock fantasies with little to no practice was almost too much awesome to handle. In pro keys mode you play every note on the keyboard. It really makes you feel like you can play keyboard, unlike the 5 button approach to the guitars."
"Luckily enough there is a "Learn an Instrument" Mode that will roughly teach you some basics, but I found it failed to even give you the correct way to place your hands. After you get accustomed to the very very basic of things you can move on to the learn a song mode (Only available for songs from Harmonix not RBN) this will give you the most repeated parts of the song and your goal is to get 100% on each section. So it doesn't really teach you anything you just got to figure it out as you go."
"This keyboard is a better quality than most Rock Band controller instruments."
"On the other side of things, my 5 year old daughter can use it to play the guitar/bass parts more easily than using the actual guitar controller, because there is only one button to press for each color, and doesn't require the coordination of fretting a note with the left hand and picking it with the right."
