In reality, it's much more beautiful with a reflective surface and LED lights for the player number you would never guess were there until it's plugged in. - First is an annoyance: you can't boot a 360 off the stick (as of 1/12/2013 on my 2009-run Xbox - it *might* be situational), and when turning the console on, you have to take it out and plug it back in if you left it in there for it to register. - Second is an aesthetic issue with the design of the decal: the round silver bars around the buttons aren't perfectly circular, and bend oddly. It's a hard yet flexible plastic with leather texturing and metal strips that run on either end into the stick. I'd say the only disadvantage is that pressing START accidentally is not fun and can get you disqualified in a tourney (or simply cost you a match by default)."
"I love this stick because it helps you learn how to smash keys less and be more accurate with the timing of your attacks. Also, do not get scared of the fact that the start button is on top next to the other keys because out of the whole 2 weeks I had it, I never even got near to touch it while playing."
"This makes the controls from some games like danmaku's, shooters(Side scrolling, Over Head, Run N Gun), classic arcade games and fighting games less precise and changing the gate to an octagonal one will void your warranty which is really lame as there is a sticker that hides a screw that is required to remove in order to open the case. The square gate isn't the best but if you wish to change it you can but the button layout might be a killer for some people if they play games that do have rebind-able keys. If you are a gamer who appreciates arcade games and might think about modding this, then I highly recommend the Qanba Q4."

"I am just a bit nostalgic to the days of MAS Systems who would build you custom arcade joysticks from genuine arcade parts that are used to build the actual arcade cabinets that you saw in arcades. This is a great stick though, the only thing I miss about the MAS Systems ones and wish the guy was still around is that he had an analog / digital selection system where you could use the stick as the analog stick instead of the D Pad. This feels like a genuine arcade stick. Traditional arcade wood is very strong, the MAS Systems stick made from genuine arcade parts you could beat the living heck out of it."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Thanks to trial and error, some clues I found online, I figured out how to install. 1) Reboot with dongle unplugged and log in as administrator. 2) Plug in USB dongle. 3) Open Internet Explorer (no other browser will work). 4) via IE, open catalog.update.microsoft.com. 5) Search "XBOX wireless". 6) Of the several drivers/results that show, the most recent did not work for me. I had to use "Microsoft-Other hardware-Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows", Driver (Networking), v. 19.53.40.791 (189 KB) - click to add to cart. 7) Open the cart in the top right to download. 8) Extract the download into a folder on your computer (anywhere). 9) Open Devices and Printers (in the control panel, remember, the dongle should be plugged in). 10) Find "XBOX ACC" - this is the dongle, mostly unrecognized by Windows. 11) Right click XBOX ACC > Properties. 12) Navigate to the Hardware tab and click the [Properties] button. 13) In the first tab, General, click [Change settings]. 14) Navigate to the Driver tab (second tab from left). 15) Select [Update driver] button. 16) Click the second option, "Browse my computer for driver software". 17) Navigate to the folder you extracted the downloaded driver into. 18) It should be recognized. Also, from everything I've read online, if you call up MS for troubleshooting, they'll have you do a lot of things that don't help in the slightest (cleaning the registry, etc.). Thankfully, I run a recording studio, so I'm used to pairing troublesome hardware, so the troubleshooting didn't take me too long."

"I've went through a number of gamepads over the years, dating back to when they connected to the PC via an analogue gameport. I've had pads from the likes of Thrustmaster, Saitek and a few others, most recently using a PS2 controller via a USB Adapter, which was far from ideal. Not so here; the controller is a nice size, the analogue sticks are positioned well in range of my thumbs, and the overall balance of the gamepad feels good. Instead of relying on a LiPo pack that may or may not survive more than a year's worth of use (I've heard really bad things about the kit that adds a Lithium battery to the controller) NiMh rechargeable AA's tend to be quite robust, and they're dirt cheap. Having it mapped to the Xbox 360 controller layout was a smart move on Valve's part as they were able to concentrate on the on-screen prompts being consistent, etc. For those of you that haven't already discovered this essential little piece of software, you can get it here: http://pety.me/XboxExt/. Save it wherever, add a shortcut in your "Startup" start menu folder, and then forget about it. Honestly, this utility removes the one problem I had with the gamepad, and does it so effectively that I can't help but wonder why Microsoft didn't ship it with something similar."
